New "The Last Airbender" pictures released

The pictures don't really interest me. They got Zuko screwed...and Aang looks...a little...meh.
And those Fire Nation Soldiers look like a mix of Spanish and American.

I MAY see the movie though..

 

I just hope they don't turn Aang's Air Scooter into a mini tornado. Rumor has it they're gonna do that.

He doesn't have an air scouter. He has an air scooter. It's the ball of air he rides on.

 

Zuko's scar is disappointing. And where is his ponytail! When they're filming book two, what is he supposed to do to symbolize his fugitiveness?

Nah. I don't really care; I just like the show waaay too much.

Yeah they really changed up a lot of stuff already, which isn't unusual for a movie. I'm curious to learn of the plot that they will choose, meaning how they will approach the existing plot of the show.

 

It looks soooo different from the anime.

I wonder whether it'll turn out like dragon ball z.:/gasp:

 

People people....it's not about the color of the skin or the ethinicity. Last time I checked, it's about acting skill, Am I right.

Avatar live action movie

That last picture with the Fire Nation ship looked pretty good, but other than that ... meh.

There is no doubt in my mind that the movie won't be fantastic, but, dear lord, it better be AT LEAST remotely consistent.

 

Eh.. I'm not quite sure what to think. As a fan, I say Aang's arrows should be more obvious, AND be light blue instead of purple-ish. Zuko's scar should be more visible, I have to be inches away from the screen just to find the darn thing! The ship wreck looks pretty cool, but so does nearly every ship wreck. ;) I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this movie will be better than I expect (which my expectations are high, but is being crushed every time I see something about the live action movie) I'll probably still go see the movie anyway, because I'm a fan and movies are (mostly) entertaining. PLEASE MAKE IT GOOD! I heard the DBZ movie was terrible, so I'm hoping the live action movie for Avatar: The Last Airbender won't degrade the series.

it doesnt look that good of a movie to me, to be completly honest, why would you take a anime and turn it into a movie with real people in it?

 

just because the style is similar, it is not anime
