New "The Last Airbender" pictures released

As some of you may know, IMDB released 2 or 3 production stills of the movie "The Last Airbender", which is still currently being filmed.

Anyhoo, from the looks of these pictures, what are your impressions of how the movie's gonna turn out?

 

This is that M. Night Shyamalan film right? Eh... I don't know what to expect. His last few films were ******, and just the thought of him taking on a Nickelodeon show makes me lol. But who knows, he might surprise me.

 

Well I think Dev Patel could pull of Zuko quite well. The shots have not impressed me a whole lot however so I guess when the trailer's out, people can actually decide.

 

I don't care what anybody says: Aang looks adorable. :]

Anyway, this is only during production so I don't really have a final word on what I expect the movie to be. But pretty cool shots, pretty cool...

 

Slumdog Millionaire is in the movie!

this movie looks like it's gonna be badass

 

I really hope this movie is good... I'm nervous. I don't want it to suck.

These pictures look pretty awesome though! But, where's Aang's arrow, and Zuko's scar?

 

I had moderate expectations of the film, but they ****ed it up already. Aang looks lame, Zuko looks lame, and the huts look lame. If it was truer to the source material, i'd watch it, but they just screwed it up.

 

ANOTHER live action movie? They seem to be making a lot of those... *Cough*Dragonball*Cough*DeathNote*Cough cough*

Idk how it's gonna turn out. The show was okay, but I never bothered to watch much of it. I might go see it for the hell of it or if something I know is good is playing at the drive in with it. (Drive-ins FTW!!) Aang (The Avatar kid.) looks sorta weird and I can help but lawl at Zuko's ears. ​

I might go see it for the same reason I went and saw Dragonball- cuz I'm a fan... but other than that... UNLESS Sokka's character is good. Sokka was always my fav D:

 

They already announced Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell as well, because Hollywood is taking an "interest" in anime.

 

Sokka is being played by Jackson Rathbone, who played Jasper in the Twilight movie. I haven't seen him in the role, but I think he will do good.

Now if Zuko only had his scar...
Btw, isn't that guy from Slumdog Millionair? Never thought of him playing that role... interesting.

You can see a faint scar in the third picture, but I don't think it's nearly as noticeable as it should be.

 

I guess because burn scars aren't as noticeable in real life, so probably they are trying to make it realistic. But at least they can put the make up more heavier anyway...

 

Oh god.....-_-......i ahve a feeling this won't turn out that great.....

 

It looks okay, not exactly horrible and such. Though I'm currently not fond of Aang, and why does Zuko have hair? If this movie is based off the first season, isn't he supposed to be bald with the exception of a small ponytail?

Also, I can barely see his scar.

Oh my gosh. I might actually have to see this now. When I heard they were doing a live-action Avatar movie, I groaned, but I like Dev Patel...

Wait, where's Zuko's scar? Don't tell me they took that out!

Ah, I see the scar now. Not very noticable, is it? I hoped they would make it more pronounced, but I guess not.
