I would really like to see a more modern setting for a Tales Of, kind of like how Square jumped from the knight-like settings of FFI-VI to the somewhat futuristic VII. It's a completely new world, and as it stands, price, platform, and release date are TBA, but more information will be announced June 2nd at the Tales of Festival. Currently a teaser site is up, but it's password protected, my guess would be until June 2nd.
Oh god yes. I love this series of games, so much. It looks quite interesting, from what we can gather from the pictures. I like the idea of the futuristic setting also, but the affects it may have on the battle system kinda intrigues me, leads me to wonder if they'll change the weapons used and such. Anyway, here hoping Bamco decides to release it in Europe and America. I'm still waiting patiently for my Xillia, Hearts, Innocence, Radiant Mythology 2 and 3, Vesperia PS3 and VS B|
Hell yeah, love the Tales series, Vesperia is my favourite, hoping this one is actually released here and it's better than Vesperia, because although Graces was good, didn't have the same feel I don't think.
Only played Symphonia but by god it was fabulous. It looks lovely, so far and hopefully the game will too. Let's hope to hear some more lovely news.
