"The scared bit", she said taking another bite, "I'm just wondering why you asked"

Bareri started blushing for some reason. "W-well it's just, I- uh... I-I thought I scared you when I used my power on Maia." she stammered.

 

Mirysa laughed a little.. "Maia scared me more, don't worry", she said nearly finishing the ice cream. "I'm friends with Fayte and he scared e when I first met him", she smiled.

Amelia thought of a plan to get Mirysa out of hidin, she made her way to Maiko who was asleep. She shocked her with her power to wake her up

 

Bareri giggled a bit too, she still had an uneasy feeling in her stomach that someone was watching them.

Maiko woke up with a fright, she almost fell off her branch in the process. She looked up, to see who shocked her. It was the green-haired girl she saw earlier today. "W-what do you want?!" she asked

 

"Maybe you should come down so we can have a one - on -one conversation together, she said shocking her again

"Are you okay?", she asked taking the last bite out of her ice cream

 

Bareri started to feel anxious, really anxious. She looked around, not a person in sight and this is what made her feel anxious. "Mi-chan I have a feeling someone is watching us... can we go home?" she said as her breathing started to get shorter.

Pain started surging through her body, she slipped off the tree branch and landed flat on her stomach, not getting a single scratch. She struggled to get up and had to lean against the tree trunk for support. "Who... are... you?" she said between breaths.

 

Mirysa looked worried, "If you want", she said getting up and walking out of the park

Amelia laughed, making lightning bolts come out of her hands, "Amelia", she said smirking, "Remember it, now what do you know about Mirsya?"

Bareri stayed close to Mirysa. I can... hear thunder? What's going on back there... she thought

Maiko looked at Amelia, she knew that this girl must've been spoiled rotten just by looking at her. She grinned at her and tried to stand up straight but ended up falling on her knees. "I don't know what your talking about." she said smugly.

 

"Twice you nearly mentioned her name", she continued, She laughed a little, "You know she's wanted by the cops, I'm just trying to help out", she said slyly

she is... her parents sent the cops on her that's why she's wearing a hoodie

They had nearly reached home, she had heard thunder, 'Must be the wind guy', she muttered as she recalled a freak storm being caused by him

 

Maiko looked up at Amelia, whatever she wanted with Mirysa it wasn't good. "My mum's name Mirysa as well..."she lied. Her eyes flashed purple for a moment.

"Mirysa, doesn't that noise sound an aweful lot like thunder?" she asked.

 

"There is this one kid with wind powers", she said smiling, "He can make storms and if it wasn't for him, I would of never met Fayte", she said opening the door of the house, releasing her green hair from her hoodie

"Liar", she said shocking her again, "Then how come you were stopped twice, talking about a criminal would be hushed up.. wouldn't it?"

 

lol it's the 100th page! I've been here for 20 pages XD

Despite what Mirysa said, she still had an uneasy feeling but she ignored it and went inside. I might go back to the park later to check up on Maiko she thought.

The pain was overwhelming, Maiko let out a sob, she didn't want to use her power because she knew that she would hurt Amelia even if she only used abit. She had to find a way out, if not then she would have to play rough. "I'm not coming clean to you, you're not my master" she said with a smirk. I may have to soon...

"You know", she smirked evily, I could call the cops, saying that you're helping in Mirysa's escape

Mirysa took off her jacket and started to cook dinner... until she realised tha tshe had no plates, "I should go buy some", she told Bareri, grabing her hoodie again.

Maiko let out a snort. "You're talking to a girl who saw her own parents get murdered... you're not scaring me." She finally managed to stand up straight. The thought of backstabbing a friend was wrong but she had to do it. "Why don't you ask Bareri the next time you see her? I only know the name nothing else and that is the honest truth." She said knowing she would probably regret it. She looked around, no one was in the area.

"Can I come?" Bareri asked enthusiastically, "I mean, what if the police get their hands on you?"

 

"I froze my dad didn't I?", she smiled, "I'll be happy if you came"

"Bareri huh?", she smiled evily, "Thanks bub", she walked out of the park

 

Bareri smiled back. Something's happened to Maiko, I can feel it...

Maiko watched Amelia walk out of the park. "Oh god what have I done?" she said to herself.

 

They arrived at the store and Mirysa bought a couple of plates, "I hope Fayte's okay with them", she told Bareri. They were walking back home until she saw a girl with green hair, her eyes widened, but luckily her hoodie was hiding it from her.

Amelia saw the girl named Bareri and the girl in the hoodie which made her suspicious that it is her sister, she walked over to them slowly, doing an innocent smile

 

Bareri, noticed a girl was walking toward her and Mirysa, she had green hair like Mirysa. Whatever the reason she was coming over she knew it wasn't good. "Mirysa, I have a bad feeling about that girl..." she whispered so that only she could here.

Maiko stealthily followed Amelia, she gasped when she saw that she had found Bareri and Mirysa. Oh god, I hope she'll be okay... she thought.

 

Mirysa started to head home again, whispering 'Let's get out of here', before she was shocked in the back, it was painful, but she had been shocked many times before so she was usedto it, she headed home again.

Amelia screeched stop to both of them and shocked Mirysa, it seemed that she ignored the shock

 

we'll have to wrap this up soon, I have to get on a plane to my dad's tomorrow

Bareri followed Mirysa as they both ran home. She must be Mi-chan's little sister... she thought
