Jacen lowered his voice to a whisper."Are you...'gifted'?"he asked her.

 

"I am guessing by that you mean, like being able to control fire, and other things?" She asked him.

 

"Yeah..a power,or element..can you?"Jacen asked her again.

 

Hayden nodded, "Fire, ice, flight, and I read certain people's mins." Hayden answred quietly.

 

Hitai stopped walking and looked up "i wish it would rain again" He said continuing down the street

 

Testing....1,2...testing... Jacen thought.

 

"As I said, I can only read certain people's mind, it is no one near here." Hayden explained knowing what he was doing.

 

"So,why not mine?...what are the requirements?"Jacen asked curiously.

Hitai got to his house "finally" he said unlocking the door and stepping inside​

 

"Well, the only people's mind I was ever able to read was my parent's and siblings, also other people I was or am related to. That is only explanation I can figure out.

 

"That--''Jacen cut himself off,trying to not say 'sucks' since it may make her feel bad."I see..can you show me your fire and ice moves?"he asked her.

 

Hayden nodded then held up her hand toward the fireplace, and the fire quickly froze. She then lifted her other hand in the same direction and the fire lit back up.

 

Jacen stared at the fire in awe."...Wow...''he said,then looked back at her."The only thing I could do is dry you off..''

 

Hayden smiled, "So show me what you can do."

 

"Ok..'Jacen raised his hand up,as if aiming for her face.Wind was suddenly blown at her,making her long hair flow back against the wind.

 

Hitai turned on his pc and sat down "what new on the forums toady"

 

"Wow!" Hayden smiled.

 

"It's not as great as your power...''Jacen admitted,cutting off the channel of Wind blowing on her.

 

"I certainly don't agree." Hayden said.

 

"..Why not?..you can freeze and burn things..I think that's cooler..''Jacen stood up and approached her.
