"It's gonna stink running home..huh?"Jacen turned around and faced Hayden.

 

"Well, I have an umbrella in my purse, so it shouldn't be that bad." Hayden said.

 

Hitai entered the ice cream shop virtually drenched and sat at the counter "a slushie please" he said to the worker

 

"..Could I walk home with you then?..I dont want to be soaked when I do get home..''Jacen said timidly,hoping she wouldnt refuse."I dont like getting soaked when I dont want to be..''

 

"I wouldn't mind." Hayden said, "I understand the not getting wet thing."

 

"Thanks..so what's your house number?mines 117..ironically its--..nevermind..''Jacen stopped himself,thinking that she had no interest in video games.

 

Hitai grabed his slushie and sat down in the corner "I was right about he rain" he said to himself

 

*Kayligh layed on her sofa at stared at the seling*

 

"I live in 26, and what were you about to say?" Hayden asked.

 

"Well..if you've ever played Halo,you'd know that 117 is Master Chief's number..or something like that..''Jacen licked his Ice Cream a couple of times."Do I sound..nerdy?"he asked

 

"YES YOU DO" Hitai shouted across the room "im suprised you havent noticed me"

 

Hayden shook her head, "No you don't sound nerdy, honestly I have always to play it, but I have never owned a XBox or a 360 for that matter." Hayden said.

 

Jacen gave Hitai the finger,but still looked at Hayden."That's cool,maybe if you come over sometime we can play together!"he suggested,never meeting a girl that showed interest in a video game before.

 

"Well, I would probably be terrible at it." Hayden admitted.

 

"I can teach you,and we can play on Easy Mode..and when your really good,you can play online with me..''Jacen said,taking a bit out of his Ice Cream and swallowing it.

 

Hitai laughed and walked over "Whats all this about Halo?"

 

"Alright." Hayden said and smiled.

 

"Why do you care?I sound like a nerd,remember?.."Jacen glared at Hitai,then looked back at Hayden."Great!"

 

Hitai looked at Hayden "Hello i havent seen you before"

 

"Hi." Hayden said shyly.
