New Silent Hill Game - Directed by Hideo Kojima & Guillermo Del Toro

Demos just changed with the digital age- back when they appeared in magazines, they improved sales. But now they launch so close to a game, you can play the demo and get the "launch experience" for that demo without playing the game at all or nuthin'!

But this "demo" has had a million downloads and has come out potentially YEARS before the actual product is going to come out. This is the best way to be true and generate hype. I don't need pre-recorded gameplay at a conference, just give me gameplay. Give me something I can put my hands on.

 

Along with what you said, I think what helped generate so much interest in P.T. (and as a result, Silent Hills) is the fact that you really don't get much concrete information at all from the experience; only more questions, and anything that generates questions helps to get people interested.

Yo that trailer was awesome! Is this like another P.T. where it doesn't actually reflect gameplay footage again?

 

I'm just gonna say "Yes" until I can actually see or can tell someone is controlling a character in third-person.

 

Apparently I'm really slow and have since noticed it did say it's another concept of P.T.

Honestly, I'm amazed by what I've seen for just being concept work. I actually feel like it'd be a shame if this content wasn't part of the game in any way.

The old "That cheating ***** left me, so I will totally get back at her by BURNING MY HOUSE TO THE ****ING GROUND!". I'm looking forward to the next stage, which will most likely consist of Konami showing up on Kojima's lawn drunk and then vomiting on his porch while asking him to come back.

I honestly can't believe this. I so wanted this series back, and it all seemed to promising, especially after P.T., and Norman ****ing Reedus being involved. What the hell...

Well, once I get The Phantom Pain, this might be the first time I actually boycott a publisher. Not that I expect one to financially hurt them; I'll just feel better personally to be done with these asshats.
