The settings and battle system looks interesting enough.
I'm in a pickle with something though. Numerous sources state that there will be cards involved in the battle system. Are these implemented in the "menu" in the bottom left corner or has that idea been dropped somehow?

You're not missing out on anything. The text comments basically just describe the scans themselves. ;)

 

Wonder if the PSP will be a bit more cheaper by the time this game comes out? I SO have to buy one.

 

I believe the menu on the left uses the "card" system, it lists different specific spells like thundaga, instead of being organized into Attack/Magic/Item and such.
