New Pokemon Game to be Announced

So apparently there is gonna be a new pokemon game to be announced next month. I'm guessing it's the third game to Black and White, possibly dubbed Pokemon Gray, featuring the 3rd dragon legendary Kyurem the Ice/Dragon which symbolizes the lack of Yin and Yang, wuji.

Anyone got any hopes on what this new game might be?

 

If it's a DS game, it's Gray coming.
No doubt, at all.

 

Seems kinda early to me but I believe it will be that. I just hope they make it so much better than black and white though.

N's pokemon team will be at the end? In BW, he has the Legendary opposite the one on the box, so maybe this time he might have both? Except maybe this time, we'll see some closure with him releasing them, and both Zekrom and Reshiram becoming catchable.

Yeah, maybe they'll do something similar to Emerald? Gotta say, it was pretty nice being able to capture all three main legendaries in one game.

I also wonder how they'd deal with the locational differences.
...or maybe we're getting another Pokemon Pinball ;_; I would not mind that at all.

 

I'm actually rather put off by Black and White being only able to get one of the Legendaries on the box in either game. Hopefully this third one will have the option to catch both.

 

I hope they put more stuff to do after you beat the game than just a few more areas and the inevitable Battle Frontier. There's not much to do now that I beat Black.

I'd like it to be an announcement of Grey, or whatever they're calling it, but somehow I don't think it will be. More likely it'll be some something nobody expects, like a 5th Gen version of Colliseum/XD: Gale of Darkness for the Wii. Whatever it is though, it's Pokemon, so I'll be sure to look into it.

 

It'd probably be more like a new Mystery Dungeon but the picture shows an in-game battle so that's not it.

 

From what I read, the picture wasn't actually of the game itself, just of the magazine that will be announcing it. To quote the article itself "No details are known about this game at all at the moment, whether it's a spin-off or not." To that extent, a new Mystery Dungeon game is quite possible, and actually quite likely, since Mystery Dungeon 2 was announced shortly after 4th gen was localised.

Im guessing it will be Mystery Dungeon,or maybe someething really random.
Would they ever make one of the "proper"(e.g.black,white,emerald etc) Pokemon games for the Wii?

 

I'm sure that if they did that there would be much hate and possibly some love. I'd hate it because Pokemon is a handheld game. The console games are really only about brining the handhelds together. I just wish they'd make a game similar to Pokepark Wii when you battled as Pikachu. So you'd be like a pokemon only you'd move and attack at will and not take turns.

And yeah, I guess a Mystery Dungeon is entirely possible. I wouldn't mind that really, I rather like those games.
Could also be another puzzle game, like Puzzle League or Troizei. There hasn't been one of those in a while.

 

I'm kinda hoping it will be "grey." I actually liked black and white. o_o and maybe grey can expand more on the "pokemon are slaves"

 

If they made a handheld that let you just brawl, not wait and take turns, then my love for Pokemon would probably rise again...

A mystery dungeon wouldn't be too crazy of an idea considering a new region means new pokemon bosses to fight and partner up with. And personally, i wouldn't mind a puzzle game.

It could also possibly be another Stadium game. Even though they stopped making them after Pokemon Stadium 2, I always considered the Battle Revolution game(s?) as Stadium sequels.

 

They did mention a Wii game a while back, which is likely Stadium-ish.
But i think if this was it they'd mention it the Wii.

 

I'd like for them to come out with the new Coliseum type game for Wii. I just enjoy seeing the pokemon on the big screen in 3 dimensions.
