New Organization XIII?

I still haven't beaten Dream Drop Distance (haven't had much time to play it) but I was wondering about something I heard... I know *SPOILERS!!!* all about how Xehanort wants to clone himself using the Organization blah blah blah... But I heard somewhere on the net that there is going to be a "new" Organization XIII in Kingdom Hearts 3? Or I think it might have said there will be a few new Organization members, at least... Is this true, or is it just a rumor? If it is true, are they supposed to be replacements for Axel, Demyx, Luxord, Marluxia and Larxene?

 

The original purpose of Org XIII was to turn all the members into Xehanort. That failed, and now instead Org XIII will be different forms of Xehanort through time
We know Saix and Xigbar are members, as well as Xemnas and Ansem.
The jury is out on the rest. Popular votes are Terranort, Vanitas, and Riku

well its entirely possible that while Xehanort trained Vanitas he put part of himself in Vanitas, giving him those golden eyes. and in doing so could have Vanitas become one of the 13 Darknesses

I agree but I think it would be interesting to have Sora meet Vanitas, or maybe Kairi believes him to be Sora and falls into a trap, either way we wont know until KH3

 

Lots of characters appear in DDD. That's a far cry from a confirmation
and it's not an Organization cloak, it's just a cloak that protects you from darkness

 

They can be anyone but I am pretty sure they could be Xaldin's, Vexen's somebody/nobody since they were the only ones who are unstable condtion and haven't woken up in Radient Garden.

 

The fact that they're somebodies again instantly removes them from a lost of candidates. The whole rose of being a nobody was so Xehanort could put his heart into the other members. Since they are somebodies again they have they're own hearts, and therefore can't be Xehanort.

 

Being a Nobody was important for the PREVIOUS Org. Not a requirement now
It's also worth noting that if they're unstable it could mean that Xehanort's heart is in them now

I personally don't believe it since it requires room for his heart to be put inside. I also don't think because your nobody had one heart that you'd have the same one. But if we aren't lucky enough Nomura will pull some crap like that when he runs out of Xehanorts...

That's true...but then why did he have to explain that the reason they were nobodies was because he wanted to put his heart inside all of them? To me it makes no sense of you can just do it anyway...

 

They're not Nobodies because he wanted to put his heart in them. They're Nobodies because, yknow, they're Nobodies. He just explained what he wanted them to do AS Nobodies, and telling them they had no heart was a simple way of getting them to do what he wanted.

 

He's the one who turned most of them into nobodies so he had to have had a spreason. The reason which can be inferred from Xehanort's explanation of what happen is because he wanted to put his heart inside of all of them.

No, his eyes wasn't golden so it has to be Replica or Data.

 

i hope so. I love the idea behind XIII, and i hope to see some really good charectar designs. Im that type of person who realy enjoys character designs along with the gaming.

 

The entire point of Organization XIII is to have thirteen darknesses combat seven lights in order to forge the X-blade. Vanitas is a being of pure darkness created from ventus and given the image of sora as he helps ventus when his heart was split as he is brought into the world. He might not be another incarnation of Xehanort but he would be an incredibly good addition to the ranks.

 

No. We've spent the better part of a decade trying to get him to a stable status quo as a protagonist. The last thing we need is another relapse.

 

I think it's not so important whether or not Xehanort has his heart in them. All he needs is XIII denizens of pure darkness. He used his own heart on Xigbar and Saix because it's a pretty convenient source of pure darkness he has to hand. Vanitas is already pure darkness so no need to Xehanort him up. Also I'm not sure the yellow eyes is so much a symbol of Xehanort so much as a sign to show evil-ness, which just so happens to be Xehanort and all affiliates in any case.

On a vaguely related note, it struck me that if he had gone through with his original plan of using the Organisation as his new vessels, Demyx would have been a new Xehanort. Demyx. Demyx would have been an evil being of supreme evil. Is it just me who thinks this is hilarious?? Come on Xemnas you could tried to think about that outcome when you were recruiting! It also makes me wonder how someone as lazy as Demyx ever became a nobody in the first place haha
