I didn't even know. I was just laughing about it last night with Alicia-Oneesan and I brought that up and we were listing off the possibilities of what the letter said. Apparently, it came down to that one. The other one she mentioned was that Sora, Kairi and Riku were needed to go save the worlds... together... yeah... hers was serious, mine was hilarious. XD

This sounds kinda cool! It would be a shame to leave Sora behind but...at the same time, I'm down with the new ideas and kinda curious to see what they make of it.

i hope sora's story continues but probaly not because he found kairi and riku back and that was one of the most important problems so....
i hope also that KH 3 will feature Balthier the skypirate from ffxii

Just a clarrification.

While there's a very high chance that Sora will be the main player in KH3 since Nomura said KH = Sora's Story, and that he made an effort to say Sora will never excluded from the main line of KH games.

He merely said Sora will be *needed* in KH3. This statement alone doesn't prove that he'll be the main playable character.

Man... kinda sucks if this is the end of sora. Just hope that isn't the case, cause would like to sora and the gang on more adventures. But, hey what can you do.

Sora'll be in all the main-line KH games, that's a certainty. Don't worry about 'the end' of Sora.

U guys are forgetting 2 big things: Donald and Goofy! What about them? How would changing Sora not screw with that bit of storyline. You think that now since theres another crisis they should find a new hero and leave like "Screw Sora". No! That would screw everything up. There are no other main Disney characters that can take center stage like Donald and Goofy to help out another hero and Donald and Goofy helping him is out of the question, so whos better for the job than Sora!? Nobody, thats who!
