As we all know, The main voice actors for Sora, Kairii, and Riku are almost 20. I assume production of KH3 will start this year. I have heard HJO in a interview recently, and he sounds nothing like sora. At All. Im not sure about Hayden Pantierre or however her name is spelled.
Makes me wonder- Will they have to hire new voice actors?
    Kairi- Miley Cyrus? Uhh.No.

Maybe Emily Osment (HJ's sister) will get a role in the next game, small or otherwise.

This is with the assumption that there IS gonna be a KHIII, which hasn't yet been proven. Even then, Square Enix is probably working on a different game.

"I assume production of KH3 will start this year".

No, Nomura already said he's not working on KH3 until after FFXIII comes out, and that game isn't due until sometime next year or the year after that.

As for voice actors, I doubt Haley's voice will change dramatically like it did from KH1 to KH2 since puberty already kicked in. If anything, his voice will become more solid in terms of its range and clarity--nothing that would set him back from reprising Sora's role (if Sora is a) in KH3, and b) if Sora has any dialogue)

Actually, even in Haley's interviews before KH2 was released in NA, his voice was already really deep and raspy (and didn't sound like Sora at all), but he changes his intonation when he voices his lines to make them higher and more youthful. One's normal voice and their acting voice for video games aren't always the same; Haley is one of these types of actors, at least for KH.

yes, a "nnew project" begins 2007. 2007= This year.

And Sora is in KH3, because Nomura said KH is Soras story.

And besides, i'd like a new voice actor or two.

You can't just say the new project is KH3 because Nomura said KH is Sora's story. That's illogical and it makes no sense. The new project could be a Final Fantasy game or even Final Mix+ itself. You'd need prove to say that there's even gonna be an existing KH3. And saying that KH3 is gonna exist because it's Sora's story is irrevelent.

    >_> A sign at a Video game show had the KH logo. and under it it said "New project begins in 2007" or something like that. Why would they be refering to a FINAL FANTASY game?

Remember what I said. The new project could be Final Mix+. This is not Japan. The game is not right around the corner. We are not sure when Final Mix+ will be released in America or will be released here at all. Secondly, remember that Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts are from Square Enix.

That doesn't mean he's working on KH3. And the fact that he said he wouldn't be working on KH3 until after FFXIII is released, obviously means KH3 is in hiatus until then.

Meh...me no thinky that whoever created KH2 would changey the main voice actors.

But, Sora, Riku and Kairi are nothing to worry about; What about Donald and Goofy?

Is HJO still in trouble with that drug abuse thing or is that over with by now? Also, I think Nomura will be working on FFVersusXIII before he starts KH3.

If Square & Disney were working on KH3 they would most likely use there heads and not change the voices...b/c i'm guessing everyone would hate it. Oh btw, I recently heard KH2FM America release is speculated to be fall 07. I mean i would really outraged if they changed the voices of the main characters. I've seen some interviews on youtube, the actors and actresses are most of the time asked to speak softer, louder...odd things. Just watch the Hayden Pannetiere one she actually says pretty much that. You people need to watch it she makes a super weird face in the middle of the interview. (its 1 minute its not gonna take up your time)

They most likely will have new voice actors. I don't mind. But it may seem weird, because by the looks of the ending in Kh2 (not the secret movie, the ending with Sora/Riku/Kairi and the Kings note in the bottle), there is no time jump (like Kh2 takes place a year after Kh). So having older voices may seem a little odd. But if there is a Kh 2.5 (something similar to CoM), then there is an excuse to having older voices.

That's done and over with. He's out of probation.

Anyway, I don't think HJO or David Gallagher will be replaced in KHIII, or whatever. They pretty much set their voice at the point where the character will sound the same for the rest of the series. Hayden Pannetiere on the other hand will probably be replaced.

I hope Billy Zane is brought back as Xehanort, not that Richard Epcar did a bad job, it's just that Zane's voice as just insanely commanding and awesome. Oh and I hope they fix his facial structure too....his face was pointy in KH2 O_O

Well, Richard Epcar did a decent job. It's just that Square should of found someone that sound like him (like Clancy Brown for instance, he played as Lex Luthor in Justice League).

Although, I'm more worried if HJO can sound younger than his KH2 voice for Sora. *points to Re: CoM*

Thats true too. Oh and I hope they get rid of Mena Suvari. WORST. EXCUSE. FOR. EMOTION. EVER. ugh....but I could be being too hard on her...I mean it is her 1st VA. Meh...they should bring Mandy Moore back...or just someone that doesn't sound like a ghost.

Oh and Yuffie too. Christy Carlson Romano was a PERFECT Yuffie, why oh why did SE give the job to Mae Whitman in DoC and KH2??? ugh.....ah well bring back Christy and Mandy please.
