New KH3 Screenshots Released

    Even though we were told no new KH3 info would be released till after 2.8 comes out, two new screenshots from the highly anticipated game were released, showing two new Drive Forms for Sora called "Guard Form" and "Power Form":

    The shield in the first image (Guard Form) is a transformed version of the Keyblade of Hercules’ shield (seen in previous promos). As for the second image (Power Form), the Keyblade being used was edited out because it's from a new world that has yet to be revealed.

      That looks absolutely gorgeous. The guard form kinda reminds me of master form. I wonder if that and the other forms will make a comeback. (I gotta say, Sora looks savage AF in that second pic.)

      So I made a tiny mistake and had to update the OP, but basically, the the second image of Sora is another new Drive Form called "Power Form"

      It's seeming like Drive Forms will influence Keyblade Transformations. Guard Form resulting in a Defensive form for the Keyblade (Olympus/Herc's(?) Shield) and Power Form for High Damage (Mystery Keyblade Hammer and potentially the Rocket Launcher Form the Star Seeker took in the E3 2015 trailer). This leaves us with at least one more potential form due to the Star Seeker's Dual Pistol transformation also seen in the E3 2015 trailer, unless that turns out to be it's Guard Form transformation. Though I feel that is more likely to be some kind of Speed/Agility Form.

      I suppose if there is a Final Form in the game, it could result in the Keyblade transforming at Random during combos.

      I'm personally really excited to see the return of drive forms in general. I know that was a slight worry when Sora's new outfit was shown, but I'm glad that we still get drives, even if they're different from the ones in the second game.

      Also Mount Olympus looks dope af.

      Glad we get drive forms still, I abused the heck out of Valor Form in KH2, and I'll probably find another form to abuse in this next one as well.

      My body is still not ready for this. Really hoping that world gets confirmed so we can see whatever that keyblade is. I'm glad Drive Forms(or some version of them) will be back. So hyped to use the new forms.
