Made this at like 2 am last night with windows movie maker, so yeah. Always open to critisism. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4Ot6ABkWHQ
This video is very good. I like how the music goes with it. It's good enough to be a commercial for it! Keep up the good work. You might wanna try more variety in the video clips, though.
A very well put together video, considering this is your second video. A good choice in song and in video clips too. Your transitions were pretty smooth too. However there is more to making videos than a good transition. You kept up with the beats at the beginning, then sort of lost it by the end, and some of the clips didn't match the beats/mood of the song. But you do have a good potential, so keep at it. =] Good Luck~
yeah Yeah thanks for the advice, i was trying to find a good way to end the video, but after like a half hour i decided just to throw that clip of RikuvsRoxas in, even if it did not really go along. I did feel as if i used too much deep dive scenes (but thats def my favorite cutscene throughout the entire series). Im already working on my next video, hopefully it will be better. I think i found the song im going to use, but i guess ill just have to see how it fits. Not sure if i should post it here when im done or make a new topic...ill probably post it here.
The music doesn't really fit with the scenes you used, and the timing was ok, when you actually utilized it. Practice getting a theme for your video and sticking to it by matching what you see with what you'd expect to hear (like a sad scene would fit with sad music, y'know?). Also, a bit nitpicking here, but the quality of your video wasn't so good, though I suppose that's just because of the source footage rather than the actual editing. Still, good effort for your 2nd video.
That was pretty good. As Hayabusa said, use a theme for you videos, most likely the theme of the song, and utilize your effects and timing to match your clips with that scene.
