    It's actually a smart move since back then there wasn't any competition. If they stuck to the original cover designs then it'd look like any other game, now it catches your attention and will make people pick it up to see what the hell that angry man is so angry about.

    I thought he was just angry in general xD

    Anywho, this is looking rather interesting and gives us a clue of how we're going to feel that the giant man we are climbing on actually is a giant man but doesn't have us move a little red pixel while we watch the whole damn thing for the entire game. I think I'll pick this up anyway, I guess I might as well get the ports of the first two as well.

    Well no actually. It has something to do with being different than the Action/Hack n' Slash games that came out in the past few months, notable ones are Darksiders, Bayonetta and Dante's Inferno. Their boxarts all show the whole body of the main character.
    So they changed it up, because it's supposed to differ and be an eye notice from those other boxarts.
    In any case, I like it. It's hardly that bad as people make it out to be.
