Birth by Sleep New English Voice Actors announced via IGN

In the article, not only do we get second confirmation of the release date (7th of September, if you hadn't heard), but a few of the big name voices to appear in BbS: Mark Hamill, Willa Holland, Jesse McCartney (We knew this one), Leonard Nimoy and James Woods.

This doesn't leave a lot of guesswork to us, but still, we have got some major Voice Actors in here. I suspect Hamill will be playing Eraqus, as the trailer we've seen pretty much confirms Nimoy's role (Finally! Spock vs Skywalker!) Only one left is Willa Holland, whom I suspect will be Aqua. I've never heard her work personally, but I have high hopes.

Not the best news after we learn of the 7th September date, but hey, it's something.

 

Mark Hamill...isn't that Dragon Booster? I don't see his voice (from the few voice overs I've heard of him) as Eraqus...But I wasn't expecting Nemoy. Now that the release is coming up, news is pouring in.

 

He also plays the Joker in like, Every Batman cartoon minus The Batman and plus Arkham Asylum.

But I am glad to hear about some of the voice actors finally.

I was way off.

Looking at some of Hamill's other work, I think he will do a great Eraqus now. Especially if he does something like Ozai from Avatar.

 

I've only recently heard of Mark Hamill when he voiced Malefor in The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon. I was actually hoping he'd appear in Birth By Sleep as Master Xehanort, but I'm satisfied with Leonard Nimoy. I'm just glad Hamill is in this game. That's awesome. ^_^

Also, it's been confirmed. Willa is going to voice Aqua.

I'm gonna be attached to my PSP for this one.

 

I have to admit, I like the curveball of Nimoy as Xehanort.
I mean out of all the possible VAs I imagined after hearing the japanese voice acting, I couldn't imagine anyone specific. Now, I can only imagine Nimoy as Old Xehanort, the master of a darkness seeking Kingdom Hearts. Well done, Square.

Willa Holland... well I guess everyone needs to start voice acting somewhere. I'm reserving the judgement.

 

i thought they said miley cyrus was gonna voice aqua.. that would be a real pain in the A**! i really hope its willa!

If it was someone from a Disney current Disney show, I'd prefer Selena Gomez over Miley.

Just looked up Willa Holland (she's kinda cute)

Apparently she's been in a few things like The O.C. and Gossip Girl. I recognize her as Agnes from Gossip Girl, but I don't know what her voice would be like as Aqua.
