As for me, I know basically nothing about it. So all I can say, is that it probably has to do with your memory from KH1 (on the memory card itself) and it gives your form power or something.

Well, Sora lost all his memories of Castle Oblivion and he was still wearing his origional clothes then, maybe the power of the new clothes enable the lost memories to manifest itself as a Drive form.

 

Well, it's been said that completing Re:CoM affects FM+.. So obviously that'll be how you get Limit Form? It's strange (but I guess in a good way) that you don't need Donald or Goofy to drive into it, and that none of them disappear (T_T) XD

..Maybe you can use some of the sleights from CoM in FM+? (yeah mines is a BS theory..*shot* BAZANG!!!)

 

my guess is that limit form changes sora's clothes to a cross between blue,green,and black. then, his moves are the same. then, under the limit command menu, all of the limits in the game appear(knocksmash,whirli-goof,duck flare,meteor shower, wildcat,jackknife,etc....), then as the limits go through, it transports you to a smaller version of the world that each limit comes from.(disney castle for knocksmash, port royale for jack knife, etc....)similar to when pete transports you to a smaller version of the windows in timeless river when you fight him.
