New Cigarettes!

Wait, if you still have to light the cig how is there no smoke? It seems to be one of the most contradictory things I've ever seen. Do you just suck on it to get the nicotine out? Because the whole point in lighting the cigarette is to ignite the tobacco and all the things that are hazardous to one's health so that the smoke can be inhaled. The only difference between the smoke that the person inhales and the smoke he/she shares with the rest of the world is the fact that the smoker has a filter.

libregkd....just don't over do it kay? And even though this new smoke happens to be a good idea, its still a smoke and nothings gonna change that. Your still gonna get negative air into your body. But its good how they consider other people though.

I am for this. I'm a child of a father that smokes and as a young child at about 2 years old, I've inhaled the fumes that are smoked out of a cigarette. And it isn't pleasant.

 

Well unless the new cigarette works like a patch and simply delivers nicotine into the users system, which is highly unlikely, nothing has changed.

Like White Rook said, without smoke, ciggarettes have no affect. The whole point is to light it on fire, then breath in the fumes. Without the fumes, what do you have? A stick that's on fire, with 200 horrible chemicals in it. Yay?

Ciggarettes never appealed to me, and even now, with this smokless tobacco, they still haven't. I honestly don't see how you guys are so happy about this, they've come out with smokeless tobacco before. It's called chewing tobacco. Everheard of it? It's JUST as dangerous as ciggarette. Back in the 80s and 90s when they came out with chewing tobacco, they had a slogan called "Smokeless tobacco", they convinced people it was safer and healthier; it wasn't. Just as many people die from chew tobacco as by cigs. Just like chewing tobacco, this new smokeless ciggarettes is just a scam set up by the cig companies to get people to think that smoking is healthier and okay. But if there's one thing my experiences have taught me:

Tobacco is dangerous and unhealthy in any form, wether it be a ciggarette or chewing tobacco or this new smokeless crap.They have flavored ciggarettes. They have pretty colors. They have nice smelling ciggarettes. They have warnings and a filter that is supposed to make the ciggrette semi-healthy, RIGHT where the smoker is supposed to hold onto the ciggarette. Therefore anything healthy to a ciggarette is covered up. Light ciggarettes, heavy, cigars, in the end it's really all the same thing: a way to take your money away from you, while killing you at the same time.

 

This new cigarette......it's a start,wish I could stop my Grandpa from smoking.

 

People need to take the time to stop and read things critically.

 

Smoking is bad no matter what smoke comes out.... if you get addicted, ur addicted to death.

Though it may not effect everyone around you so much, it won't change how it effects you. But to each his own.

It's a cool idea.
I hate it when you are walking down the street & someone blows a big puff right in your face. So these new cigarettes would stop that.

But are these new cigarettes more expensive or something?
