So, according to an article I read, Netflix is no longer going to be shipping DVDs or Blu-Rays.
However, it will turn into a rental service.

The following information comes from Netflix CEO and co-founder Reed Hastings...

    - Quikster will handle DVD/Blu-ray and game disc rentals
    - renting 360, PS3 and Wii games

"One improvement we will make at [Qwikster's] launch is to add a video games upgrade option, similar to our upgrade option for Blu-ray, for those who want to rent Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 games. Members have been asking for video games for many years, and now that DVD by mail has its own team, we are finally getting it done.
...if you subscribe to both services, and if you need to change your credit card or email address, you would need to do it in two places. Similarly, if you rate or review a movie on Qwikster, it doesn't show up on Netflix, and vice-versa."

Oh, you had me more concerned for a moment. I knew that Netflix really fraked themselves up, but I thought you meant they weren't going to send movies out at all.
I've had netflix for awhile and it's been great, I'm trying to figure out if this is really going to change anything important.

I never really liked renting games in anyway. There's just something about having the cartridge or the disc. Kinda like a trophy. They might have a little competition though with Gamefly since they've been on the seen for years.

I don't worry too much about getting movies since I stream, but I can only get so many videos at the library, so this is going to get annoying when I want to see certain movies

Sounds like a plan to make more money... (Who wulda thunk?!)

I never rent games if i can, i am usually very picky with my games and thus, i probably only buy 2-3 games a year. (If any)

But for watching movies, i think Netflix is good, i just think they are going up a road they are used to and may hit a few pot-holes.
