The drawing good enough, but the sky as a background would be excellent.

I agree, but make it more of a sunset kinda sky. That would look awesome.

Oh yeah, a sunset sky with mountains in the distance and no clouds.

Yes! That's what I'm talking about! Now, it's your choice, but I say it would great in color when you're done!

    That is lovely.

Remove the bottom part of it. And I don't really like the way the sun looks either. Make it look like you can only see the sky and that is all. Don't add the sun just add the colors when the sun is setting.

Yea, i didnt really like the perspective of the new one with the hilltop/sun idea.
ill try some variations on it.
mountains+sunset first, then just sky with the sunset colors.

sketch of the mountains, no color or ink.

and for just the sunset colors, im gonna redraw a quick sketch of the trees too, since im terrible at coloring, im gonna keep a draft as backup.
so that change will take a little bit longer.

It looks good, but lets see it without any of the landscape and just sky.

i love it, and I love the background <3
    Can't wait for the colored~!

    and about the drawing:
    It's amzing. Very symbolic.
Love how everything's black except for the red heart down there by the tree's trunk.
Honestly, even though it does lok a little empty even a plain background would go well with this. Of course, what I see now is better but yeah.

Aww, I cannot believe I missed this! I absolutly love the silhouette tree, it is simple but looks so nice. The flowers falling off are a nice add to the motive, might I add.

Now, if you ask me, concerning how the silhouette looks like I'd imagine the viewer to look upwards at it, far away. Like if it was standing on a hilltop. Apparantly you have already started on the background work so it may be too late to ask you to cut away the fields and just keep the mountains if you wanted any landscape in the image. I think the silhouette against a background mostly of the sky would be the best choice, actually just colouring without any further lineart would look wonderful. I mean the tree etc will become so dark when there's a strong lightsource shining behind it.

But go with what you have planned for this drawing. :3 It's still a really nice feeling to the motive.
