Need Help With Tales of the Abyss Boss Battle(Van FINAL BATTLE 2nd time)

Okay this is the final battle in the game and its super mega freakin hard for me and ive dont it literly like 8 times and i normaly can get to the part where he unleashes the power of Lorelei but its so hard if anyone have and Tips/Helpand even Cheats id sure like your help Thanks.:)

 

I'm not even at that part I'm still at the boat(That's because my friend keeps doing a lot of stuff for me on the game and he don't get that I want to do it by myself so I have to keep restarting) But to tell you, think of clues in the game about van and stuff and it might help.

My friend was facing him when I was over at his house, seemed like what my friend did was level up everyone to like i don't know level 50 and used Luke, Tear, Jade, and if I remember correctly he used natalia or anise.


I'm sorry if I wasn't much help, I just going by what my friend did so....

 

you can't stagger him when he's casting magic so don't waste TOO much effort of attacking while he's chanting spells. after the spell releases though, go all out. the only way to interrupt his casting is to Press R2 (to activate Overlimit Mode when the gauge is full) next to Van, or use a Mystic Arte. oh and make sure to have at least one spellcaster, always helpful to have Magic support.
