Just keep on hitting him with your keyblade till he dies.

    Got it Memorized?

    Now you say: "Believe it!!"

P.S. I wasnt trying to spam. That's seriously how I defeated him.

What you do is you attack him.

IT's all about timing, you need very high value cards to card break with, don't sleight when the cells is shut, even it can reach a higher card value, once you card break him or get a mickey card, if any chance you get a mickey card, reload your deck first and activate it and start to attack, sleights won't work much as he closes the cells quick so the best technique is one card at a time, keep doing that and you'll be fine.

It's obviously KH:CoM since he put it in the KH:CoM section. Right?

Anyways, you probably already know that you can't attack Oogie with the bars in your way. You have to "card break" three cards to be able to attack. Oogie always uses a 6 or 7 (Can't remember) to attack. Use a 7, 8, 9, or 0 to counter, but don't stock or use your cards when the bars are down. What I mean by that is don't keep using your cards until he attacks again. Repeat until his bars go down. Then start attacking. No magic, no sleights. This makes it slower. Just keep attacking. I doubt you need Cures, but if necessary, put them in.

Just keep hitting the dice. It will give you a Mickey card, which will open the gates for you to attack him. Just keep doing that, and dont forget Summons and card stocks.

My strategy for KH2 Oogie Boogie boss

What I did was I went up to the front of the machine with the three holes in it and pressed the triangle button so I went through it to another side. You will find more presents when you keep switching from side to side and eventually Oogie will be knocked off that annoying little stand he is on. When he is knocked off, hack away at him until he goes back up. Then, repeat until he is finally finished off.:D

This is for Chain of Memories, not Kingdom Hearts II.

Take out all cards that can't Break a value of 7, and use those. Also, if you have a Calm Bounty card, use it so that you can get Fire Raid. Use Blizzard Raid too if you got it from Olympus Coliseum.

Just get high cards in hand and block his attack three times until the gate lowers, then attack. Blocking his attacks will avoid bombs, heartless, etc.
