Nature's Sorrow

Xemit turned to look at the door. not that it was necissary really. Almost all of his personal money has gone into this lab and security was no exception. That door recieved it black color from a shell of obsidion, but behind it was a lining of titanium and it's core was diamond nanorods. Nothing was going to break through that. Besides whoever made that noise was likely asking for attention, they wouldn't try something so obvious if they actually wanted inside.

 

Brad walked towards the door, his blade in one hand the gun in the other "stay back, probably a stray animal, you might have your subject right here," he loaded six tranquilizer bullets and looked around

 

Xaid was hideing stared at the door." come on, open the door so i can rip your leg off..." he growled.

 

Xemit shook his head "Security isn't much of an issue here really. They most likely wanted to be heard anyway, otherwise they would of tried something more discrete than tackling the front door."

 

Leon heard what the other scientist said then he looked at the hunter. "alright since you got the job what else do you need cause your still here" the young scientist said tiredly to the hunter as he rubbed his eye. After an few moments Leon pulled out the vial that had Luxy's blood. "here is the sample" the young scientist said as he handed the vial to Xamit.

Sesi looked back to see what the wolf done for once he would try to curve the path destiny laid down. "remember everything is better when it comes from the inside" the arctic fox said in an riddle like tone. Walking away "if you want to mess something up or get known attack the cords or whatever that keeps the place goin" Sesi thought to himself wondering if the wolf got the riddle.

 

Xaid nodded and tackled the door more harder this time and ran back to his hideing place.

 

Xemit nodded his head in agreement with Leon "You're primary goal is to get us a live sample. Any information or alternative samples are good but if you get the oportunity to get one back here alive, you take it."

 

"it will be done... i trust if you can make any new weapons ill be able to use them, ill take my payment in cash, or in any new toys you can give me" he smiled as he put his sword away, he had his gun loaded and ready as he walked out the door "ill bring you whatever i can find," he walked back to the table and took his pelts back, and he laughed a little "almost forgot i kinda need those" he said as he put the invisible cloak around him, he walked out the door, he crept through the streets, unseen as he looked for prey

 

Xemit put his hand up to his mouth like he was going to bite his knuckle, a standard thinking position for him. Designing weapons would be the cheeper option, but he would need the research time for the beast phnomina. The simple conclusion he arrived at was to research weaponry durring any gaps in the current research and pay the difference in cash. He then seperated a small portion of the blood sample into a test tube and put that into the machine.

 

Brad saw a white fox and a scraggly wolf and he crept closer, he aimed his gun, because of the cloak covering it, the gun remained invisible, he fired three tranquilizer darts at the wolf, he hoped to hear the animal drop out cold

 

The arctic fox heard something whiz through the air that did not make him look back. Sesi continued his walk acting like nothing happend and no one was getting shot at but in reality there was. "fate is fate" the arctic fox said to himself as he walked away not caring what happend to the wolf.

 

Brad saw how calm the other animal was and he stood up, he felt a strange feeling, he walked towards it "hey lil guy, you seem a lot braver than the other wolves" he kept his hand on his blade in case it decided to attack "im not gonna hurt you, i just want to test something.... it wont involve me getting closer than i am now, if you can understand me, give me a sign" he hoped to confirm this theory of how smart some of the wolves are

 

Phenox awoke. he stretched and yawned. he stood up. he sniffed the air. a dead animal was nearby... easy prey. he limped towards the smell.

 

Sesi just stoped walking he heard the hunter the fox felt better if he did not got involved but yet he was always involved. "im an arctic fox theres an difference between an fox and a wolf" Sesi said to the hunter calmly. After an few moments of silence "thanks for the comment" the arctic fox said politly. "so what do you want" Sesi said emotionaless to the hunter.

 

brad was completely surprised "y...you talk? i didnt know you foxes could talk" he said

Blood went back outside as an illusion and simply looked around to insure he was safe and he headed for town

 

Leon looked at the other scientist he noticed that position. "he is off thinking something critical" The young scientist simply said to himself quetly as he looked at the machine."so what do you think is goin on" Leon asked Xemit.

Sasi simply rolled his eyes "yep i can talk others can too but that is if they decide to talk to humens" the arctic fox said coldly to the man. After taking an few moments of silence he started walking again not looking back or hurrying.

 

"hey, hey! fox thing! i wasnt done talking to you" he walked next to it "so... i hope you know i dont kill things that have the decency to talk... that and im dumbfounded you things can talk at all... care to explain?"
