Naruto: The Crystal of Life

Shikamaru sighed, "oh great....." he said eating some of the ramen, "hey there Naruto......" he said, "so you didn't receive a mission either?"

 

Naruto shook his head at Shikamaru as he ran up to them"None,you guys?''he asked
Sasuke ordered a bowl of ramen and ate silently

"No not me" she said and finished her Ramen.
Then she see's Sauske.
Should I say hi she thought but shook her head.

 

OOC: See ya Gate.

BIC: "Your here to Sasuke......now its really odd......" Shikamaru said thinking, "to have a couple of people not having missions is acceptable....but having four......either there are no missions to give or our job ratings for our shinobi is decreasing....." he said getting up and paying for his and Sakura's bowls and leaving.

 

"Wait!" Sakura yelled and Ran after him.
"Where are you going" she asked.

 

"Who knows....probably back to my spot.....relax and be lazy the rest of the day....." Shikamaru said sighing, "better than walking around with nothing to do in my opinion...."

 

"Oh" she said.
"Well, see you later" she said and hugged him.

 

Shikamaru was a little surprised by the hug but embraced her back, "well if you don't have anything to do....I guess you could come to....." he said, "like I said its better watching the clouds with more than one person....."

 

She nodded and walked with him.
"So how was your other missons?"

 

"Mainly troublesome......not even sure why I became a shinobi sometimes...." Shikamaru sighed, "seeing as how lazy I am.....no clue why I should be one....." he said heading up some stairs.

 

"Your smart" she said.
Did you see yourself in the Chunin Exam?"
"Pure Genius"

 

Shikamaru grinned and shook his head, "well I just thought of it as a game....I knew I wasn't going to win....." he said, "besides it started to become boring fairly quickly......" he said reaching the spot with her.

 

Sakura smiled at him.
"I think you make a great shinobi" she said and smiled at him.
"Even if you don't"

 

"Well thank you Sakura.....but I guess I have yet to see that myself......" Shikamaru said sitting down and laying back, "for now I'm content with being lazy though....."

 

Sakura sighed and layed back with him.
She then looked at the sky and smiled.
"Its never been so...peaceful" she said.

 

"Yes usually looking at the sky on a mission just doesn't have the same effect....." Shikamaru said smiling at the sky, "this is one thing I will never find boring....." he turned his head to face her, "do you know what made you red back at the ramen shop Sakura?"

 

"Uh...Well...because of the ramen" she lied.

 

"But your face was red before you commenced eating...." Shikamaru said tilting his head, "is something wrong....or do you just not want to tell me?" he said sitting up, "its ok if you don't want to...."

 

She sighed.
"I kinda like you "she said.

 

Shikamaru was surprised, "you like me...?" he said confused, "but I always thought you like Sasuke.....besides I'm a lazy bum....why would you like me?"
