Naruto: Silver Bell of the Hidden Sound

-Village Hidden in the Leaves-

Hinata had caught wind that they were all being called in on an important mission. She hurried to go find Naruto and recieve whatever orders they were. She was Embarassed that after all this time working with him that she still felt a sick feeling in her stomach if the two of them got to close. She cringed as she noticed him talking to Kakashi, Embarassed that she may have interrupted some important conversation.


-Village Hidden in the Sound-

As Ako was making his way through the village, he was able to see the spark caused by the chidori. He decided to search for the source, only to find Yusuzu there. At first, he was willing to step in, but he noticed that she seemed to be doing fine on her own. Instead, he had a trio of knives in his hand, blending with the shadows, and waited for a time to intervene.

 

~~~Konohagakure: Village Hidden in the Leaves~~

Naruto and Kakashi returned even more sullen than before. "Kaito..I'm going to have to leave you for a bit. Naruto and I need to head out. We'll be back in a few days." He kept that serene expression on his face despite the worry deep inside him.
Naruto felt Hinata's chakra and turned towards her, "Hinata! So you're coming too?" "Naruto, you should know who's coming. Didn't you assign them this mission?" Kakashi frowned at him and Naruto flushed, "Of course I did. I know who's coming." Shaking his head, Kakashi and Naruto moved to join Hinata. A three man squad would move faster to get to the Hidden Sound Village. Even now...Kakashi could feel a heavy weight settle on him.

~~~Village Hidden in the Sound~~~

Out of the dust caused by Yasuzu's jutsu, she lept backwards and searched for the figure. "Nhh!" Turning 90 degrees on her heel, her sword met with the kunai again. Her eyes widened slowly as the figure drew a long sword from her cloak. No...how could I miss that!? The sword slashed upwards through Yasuzu's clothes, cutting a long line along her left arm as she narrowly dodged it. "Very good. I expected no less from a Cloud shinobi." "Grr..." She's good...my Byakugan can't keep up with all her moves. This may be...my last battle. Calming her Byakugan, Yasuzu lifted her sword so it was level with the ground. "Cloud-Style: Frontal Beheading!" Dashing towards her opponent with lightning speed, she made one desperate slash for her throat only to catch a wall of fluttering butterflies. "Damn you..."

 

-Village Hidden in the Leaves-

"I'll come along with you N-naruto," Hinata said in a low voice. To her, it seemed like only on missions that she felt like she could actually talk to Naruto. "No need to be so hard on him, Kakashi. Naruto is...a fine hokage."

 

Hidden Sound Village:

Kai had arrived the village at last. He had no time to waste. He needed to find the whereabouts of this girl with the forbidden Jutsu. He turned to the person assigned to him. "Ritski says you are good. I hope you can prove yourself to me today. We woulnd't want you to begin disappointing your master after all." He smirked. All he could do was wait for a possible sign to reveal itself.

A fight could be heard inside the city. "This may be the fun we were looking for. Show me what you got, okay kid." He and the stranger behind him leap to see two shinobi at fight. He watched as one activated a Cloud Style Jutsu, missing into a swarm of butterflies. Kai yelled out "You appear to be failing. Is this what your village is producing these days? Pitiful. Too blinded by the light to see where your true opponent is."

 

Shinji had also noticed the battle taking place within the Sound Village. He was annoyed by the voice calling out to them, but chose to ignore it as to not give himself away. "So I'm not the only one here on a mission...This could prove to be more difficult than anticipated." He thought as he looked for was to traverse the village without drawing attention to himself. He then had the idea to use one of his jutsu techniques as a way to get past. He hid behind a building and performed the handsigns. "Doton: Shinjū Zanshu no Jutsu!*" Shinji plunged underground and began to sneak underneath the fighters. He could only hope none of them could sense his chakra.

 

~The Hidden Sound Village~

Ichiro had landed on top of a building that overlooked the current fight happening in the Sound Village. Sound I intervene, or let things play out. While it was possible that the other ninja and himself were looking for the same person, there was a possibility that there goals were different. What do you think Chomei? He asked his Biju, not expecting an answer. Once again his question was answered by silence. Figures.


~Hidden Leaf Village~

"Okay Kakashi-Sensei." Kaito said as his teacher left. Turning back to the three wooden logs, he thought about what Kakashi had said. How can I increased the power of my jutsus. He thought back to the last jutsu he used. Compared to the other two logs, the middle one took the least amount of damage. He used some charkra to make a chidori appear in his hand. "What can I do to make this cause more damage." He said to himself as he starred at the jutsu in his hand, pondering his question.

 

~~Konohagakure: The Village Hidden in the Leaves~~~

Kakashi mearly gave a tired sigh to HInata's words and Naruto beamed, holding his head high. "See that, Kakashi-sensei?! Hinata thinks I'm a great Hokage! Better than the rest!" Kakashi frowned, I don't think that's what she meant...


~~The Village Hidden in the Sound~~

Yasuzu glowered up at Kai and his partner. "Damn...reinforcements... Doesn't matter..I can take all of you out! Byakugan!" Activating her kekkei genkai again, she twirled her sword until she held it reverse styled and touched the hilt to the palm of her opposite hand. The woman she'd been fighting followed her gaze and met Kai's. Suddenly a delighted squeal emitted from her mouth and she discarded the raggedy cloak she'd been wearing, revealing her white dress and long white hair framing a pale face with dark blue eyes shining up at Kai. "Kai, Nabarashi-kun! Oh, I thought I'd never get to see you two again! My, my, how you've grown up Nabarashi-kun!" The boy standing beside Kai, Nabarashi, frowned at her, "Am I supposed to know you?" he asked and her head dropped in disappointment. "But it's me...Sena...d-don't you...recognize me?"[DOUBLEPOST=1346301575][/DOUBLEPOST]~~Hidden Sound Village: Ruined Orochimaru's Hideout~~

Rei frowned at the crystal ball showing her what was happening in the village. They just couldn't leave her alone...even with her Master dead... It was all his fault...Sasuke Uchiha. "I'll show them...I just want to be left alone..." Uncurling her legs from under her, she knelt on the ground, "Let's see...it went like this... Boar...Dog...Bird...Tiger..." she made each handsign slowly and pressed her hands to the ground, "Summoning: Iron Maiden!"

 

Hidden Sound Village

Kai looked into her eyes. "It has been a while. Need help with this one? The sooner you finish them off, the sooner I can give you the briefing on our mission. Unless you already know about the girl. Either way, this might help you a bit. That Byakugan can be a real pain even though it see's the full beauty of nature all around." Kai began to move his hands towards his face. "Light style: Blind" A bright light appeared in front of Yasuzu.

Kai turned to Nabarashi "Ah, so that is your name. Apparently you can only talk to Sema. sigh."

 

~~Hidden Sound Village~~~

Yasuzu covered her eyes against the light, losing focus to mantain her Byakugan. Sena closed her eyes and spread her hands outwards towards her. Several glowing butterflies peeled off from her white fingers and hurtled towards Yasuzu. "Butterfly Barrage!" They exploded on contact with Yasuzu.

Nabarashi looked up at Kai with cold blue eyes, "I didn't have a need to talk to you. Those aren't my orders. Cat Claw Creation." His nails and toenails grew to an extreme length and he jumped from their position on the top of a roof towards Yasuzu when a rumbling came from underground. Since he couldn't change tragectory in mid air, when a giant "lucky cat" rose from the ground, splitting open down the middle, it showed thousands of thousands of spikes on the inside. "What?" The cat rose around him and closed with him inside. It stood quietly there in the middle of the village. Yasuzu lept from the dust cloud, covered in marks from the explosions and landed on another rooftop, "What the hell is that thing?" Sena backed up a few steps to get a better look at the whole thing. "A summoning?"

 

-Hidden Sound-

Kai stood on the roof jumping to the site of the cat eating Nabarashi. "Normally I would say you had it coming, but Ritski isn't the type to like his members die so easily." Kai leaped down to join Sena. "Looks as if we are going to work together again, nectar sucker." He looked at her and smiled. "Light beams" Two beams of bright white beams shot out from Kai's hands. "Give me a good show will you?"

-Secret Base-

Tsukiko walked into seeing blood on the floor with many corpses dead. They had Kunai knifes laying in their bodies. "Disgusting. Ritski could at least be clean about it." She walked over to see him sitting and staring at the wall. "Um, I brought that, weappon you assigned me to acquire. Why you wanted it I have no clue. It must be valuable if a large unit in the Hidden Rain village was protecting it." She places the weapon on the table behind her. "I am going to my quarters. Let me know when you need me for something."

 

~~Hidden Sound Village~~

Yasuzu focused her chakra into her blade, "Bring it on! Cloud Style: Flame Beheading!" Flames burst from her blade as she swung it and they continued to spread, engulfing the entire place. Sena lept away from the flames, "Finally, we're getting serious. Wind Style: Vaccum Barrage Jutsu!" Sena blew strong gusts of wind into the fire, scoring across the earth, they cleared a straight path for Yasuzu as she came barrelling down the path towards Sena.

From the giant iron cat came a screeching noise of nails on metal and it slid to the ground in several pieces with Nabarashi surrounded by a flaming dense blue chakra cloak. "The Iron Maiden is no match for my strength." His nails went bath to their normal length as he loaped over to them on all fours. Yasuzu took up a defensive position, distancing herself from Sena, Kai and Nabarashi. "A Jinchuriki?"

 

Kai looked in shock "I never expect him to use a jinchuriki for his plots. Ritski you sly dog. To bad we will just have to kill you when we acquire the others." Kai turned the beams of light off. "Well, It isn't going to be fun playing cat and mouse all day. Let us just speed this up. The day is getting old. Cant have that. Light Prism Jutsu!" He stood his ground performing symbols with his hands. A prism of light began to form under Yasuzu.

Hidden Sound Village

Ako had seen enough of the battle. He saw the light forming under Yasuzu, and quickly acted. "Out of thr way," Ako shouted as He used his dash to hurry over to knock Yasuzu out of the way to safer ground while throwing a trio of kunai Knives at the enemy. However, when Ako noticed that he moved his comrade out of the way, he would only trap himself under the light.

Hidden Sound Village

Ichiro continued to watched the battle unfold in front on him. It was about when Ako pushed Yasuzu out of the way of the on coming attack when he decided to do something. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Placing his hands in the necessarily signs and appear next to him in a puff of smoke was a clone of him. Soon after appearing, the clone lept down to the battlefield and ran to push Ako out of the way.

 

~~~Hidden Sound Village~~~

Yasuzu skidded to a halt only to be met by Nabarashi's cat claws. They dug into her side and she dropped her sword, "Un! Ako!" But...who was this boy trying to protect him? Taking advantage of her distracted mind, Nabarashi's chakra tail wrapped around her, "Now DIE!" HIs eyes were wide and feral as he pulled back his arm, moving the chakra cloak along with the chakra cat arm backwards and pierced through Yasuzu's stomach.

~~~Hidden Sound Village: Orochimaru's Ruined Hideout~~~

Again a series of handsigns, this time they came faster, "Genjustu: Hidden Mist Jutsu!"

Surrounding the Sound Village fell a thick mist. Once it touched the ground a giant flaming blue demon came charging out of the mist towards everyone.
Nabarashi dropped Yasuzu and returned to his comrades, "Tch...genjustu...Kai...Sena...let's retreat. Someone else is interferring with this mission." Sena patted his head, "How cute, Nabarashi, you're learning well." Her face became serious, "But he's right. Kai, let's fall back until we figure out who's messing with us. Release!" "Tch...show off... Release!"

 

Kai had tried to catch his prey easily with his jutsu. All he caught was a clone. "Sigh. Why do I have to get my hands dirty for all of this. All I wanted was to catch some girl with forbidden Jutsu but no. I have to fight some shinobi who don't know there place in the world of light. My brightness will shatter them into true light!" A single beam came out of Kai's right hand while he threw darts of pure light at Ichiro. He charged at Ako with blinding speed to try and slice his body in two. Kai saw the X shaped scars on his cheeks. Kai had stopped nearly an inch from Ato's neck and dropped to the ground. A sudden image of a blossom appeared in Kai's mind. A flashback to his past.

He was young playing with his father on the outskirts of the Village Hidden in Mist. A shinobi from the Hidden Leaf had come to kill Kai. He had seen a vision of Kai's future and what was in store. The shinobi charged Kai with a shuriken that struck Kai's right eye creating a scar. Kai's father acted to protect his son taking the lives of both him and the shinobi. The X shaped scar would be a reminder of what happened.

Kai continued to just sit there on his knees unable to move.

 

~~~Hidden Sound Village: Hidden Mist Genjustu world~~~

Both Nabarashi and Sena's genjutsu release did not fade the image of the blue demon charging at them. "It's not...working! Kai! ...Kai? Wh-where'd he go?" Sena and Nabarashi stood alone in a field covered in mist with the same blue demon charging at them, a kunai knife stuck in it's mouth of razor sharp teeth.

~~Hidden Sound Village~~~

Yasuzu crumpled to the ground, bleeding out. Even with her vision growing blurry, she saw two of the assailants become trapped in a genjutsu and the other...presumably under the same genjutsu. Turning her head slightly, she saw a dark figure hurrying towards her. A girl with short black hair pulled Yasuzu's arm around her neck and lifted her up, "I'm going to take you and your friends someplace safe...please, just hang in there." Carrying the wounded Yasuzu, he girl waved to Ichiro and Ako, motioning them to follow her as she fled the village and back to her hideout.

 

Hidden Sound Village

Ako was ready to take the impact when he saw that his opponent stopped dead in front of him. He didntm
Ike how his attacker was looking at him, especially when he was that open for an attack. Quickly reacting, Ako tackled his opponent down, pulling out a knife from his pack.

Before Ako could attack though, he saw Yasuzu being taken away, as well as the strange girl's signal.

"Dammit," Ako said to himself, knowing that he couldn't fight his natural response to follow his friend, as well as the stranger. He delievered a punch to his opponent and left, following the strange girl.

 

Hidden Sound Village

As Ichiro dodged the kunai thrower at him, he was going to summon another to clone before he saw the girl signal him. Wonder why's she's signally me. He thought before he turned and followed the girl.
