I really like this game and I was wondering if anybody liked it to. So KHV, do you like it? On a side note, my favorite part of the game was definetly the boss battles. I also liked that some characters specialized in long range and most in short range. Kinda mixed things up for me, ya know?
I agree. The graphics were amazing~! I think they looked better than the old Ultimate Ninja Storm as well.
im starting to get into Naruto but i have not played that game yet but my one friend says its awesome and that i should play it.
i actually like this game a whole lot. though, i would love to punch the developers in the face for making the Ultimate Jutsus short and un-epic compared to Storm 1. though, the story mode is GREATLY improved from the first game. the narration is better, there's enough information for someone to actually know what's going on. and yes, the boss battles were my favorite part of the game, they were cool and was different than the regular fighting. the online mode, i'm not sure where i sit there. the online community is TERRIBLE. though i get a sick thrill from putting cheap a$$ spammers in their place. though, i find i can be a little helpless against stupid turbo controllers. i can only beat turbo controller people using Temari because the turbo controller is just going to hurt them against long range people (they waste all their chakra substituting all the projectiles) i found Hinata to be the perfect character to punish Rasengan spammers :) as soon as i see a substitution, i activate 8 Trigrams 64 Palm Guard and they ram right into it.
Agree with you on all points there. And I know! I really hate Rasengan spammers with a passion. They're such noobs. lol
I loved this game, other than the de-epicness of ultimate Jutsu's like Evilman said... I have no complaints. Story was great and the fights were faithful to the original series in most aspects. They captured everything great (again minus the ult jutsus) about Naruto. I played this game none-stop until I 100% all achievements. And I don't regret it lol. I can't wait for the follow up game. (However long it takes for us to get enough story to make one of course) It should be great if they improve on everything they have in this, which they already have at a great level lol
Yeah, but I'm actually still working on completing it 100%. I'm not cure how far I am though. >> What I also liked was that there were some pretty awesome new characters. That's mostly why I bought the game, just so I could play as Konan and Pain! XD
I had the first one which was brilliant but I've yet to get this one. It's Shippuden characters correct? And was Lars Alexanderson a pre-order exclusive or is he still in the game regardless?
You unlock Lars after getting a certain amount of Storm points, can't remember the amount, but anyone can get him, it's not pre-order exclusive lol
Yeah, you have to get a certain amount of Storm Points like Bushy said. Although, I didn't know this. At first I thought that I would never get Lars because I didn't pre-order it but as I played the game and accumulated enough Storm Points, it said I unlocked Lars.
spammers are so annoying! especially Shikamaru people who just use him to abuse that stupid knockback hit you get when you have Support Drive. they just keep chakra bombing you! the turbo controller thing is REALLY annoying because it's kind of forcing me to use Temari as my main but i would love to be able to use other characters too. it's just that it's no fun losing just because of the gay (i usually don't use that word that way but i just had to) turbo controllers. also a word about Temari: it seems no one realizes that she's invulnerable to projectiles (minus bombs) when she activates her awakening. that has helped me kill people because they do try to shoot me down but fail. i do wonder when a sequel to this game will come out. though, judging from their history, it seems like they released an Ultimate Ninja game every year, so I'm going to guess that there's going to be one this year as well. by way: as anyone figure out a way to beat Itachi's Susanoo? i find i can only beat it when i was already leading by a lot already so he can't kill me before it runs out. but i'm a little helpless against it no matter which character i'm playing as. that and Killer Bee's awakenings are the only ones i can't seem to beat. neither of those take much damage but dish ALOT of it.
I haven't yet, unfortunetly. It's like impossible to beat him. Him and Deidara's awakening, they're so annoying.
I really enjoyed this rendition of the Shippuden series, the graphics are AMAZING, the boss battles take the intensity of the original fight to a whole new level, and there's a good amount of characters to use. My only problems(Like others have said) would have to be that the Ultimate Jutsu moves are too short, and 99.7% of the online community use Sage Naruto and Rasengan spam. With my main being Lee, I'm kinda screwed online. Other than those, this game is epic.
Deidara's bird can be stopped from moving for a split second with almost literally ANY attack. As for Susano, i find the best way to beat it is to play as either Minato or Killer Bee. Minato's awakening can easily evade the susano(much to my friend's frustration), and Killer Bee's is just epic.
for Deidara, i find that it kinda depends on which character I'm playing as. i can't really beat it when I'm playing as Sakura or Neji. but when playing as Temari or Sasuke, i can beat it no problem. i just keep using my jutsus and supports relentlessly (and without regard to chakra) until Deidara dies. which character do you usually play as? i agree with the boss fights thing. i actually wish the Naruto vs Sasuke fight in Storm 2 was how it should have been in the anime. the video game adaptation GREATLY surpassed the source material on that one. not all hope is lost for Lee. use his awakening for the teleportation ability. i find it's really hard to overcome the teleportation ability unless i'm playing as a character with a defensive jutsu. i've seen quite a few youtube videos of Sage Naruto getting put in his place by awakened Guy and Lee. so you'll probably get owned in the part of the fight before you can awaken but might be able to beat him once you can. also, have Tenten and Neji as supports (who have good stats with Lee), really helps against Rasengan spammers :)
By "Teleportation Ability" you mean his Dash while in Awakening, right? And thanks for the info on the supports. I was usually using Hinata and Neji since they have 64 Palms guard and 8 Trigrams 64 Palms (respectively), and they would block the spamming offender, but it didn't always work out.
The other annoying one is when someone uses the Fourth Hokage to span his lightning dash and his Rasengan. It's so hard to keep up and can get really disorientating. In the end I figure if they spam... so will I. I go into Mangekyo sharingan Sasuke mode and spam Amaterasu repeatedly... it's a fast attack and causes plenty of damage. I figure, hah, that will teach the spammers... it's just a shame I have to resort to it myself... :/
yes, i mean the dash. Hinata isn't that great as a support because her jutsu is just too small but it has a much quicker startup time than Neji's. by the way, did you know that Amaterasu can be jumped over? it's not that effective because of this. my bro figured that out when I was Amaterasu spamming against him XD
