"Heh, sure am." Hayate said as he put the other bracelet on. "Hey... You're smiling. That means you're happy, right?" he asked.

 

"What else could it mean, silly?" Ino asked, chuckling, as she watched him put on the bracelet.

 

"...I'm glad then." Hayate said "Hey, you know what time it is?" He asked her.

 

Ino turned, looking out the window. "It's late afternoon," she replied. "Why do you ask?"

 

"That's just enough time to grab a bite to eat! Ramen on me?" Hayate asked with a smile on his face.

 

Ino chuckled and said, "Of course, that would be lovely."

Hayate grabbed Ino's hand. "We better hurry though, it's friday so the shop closes early!" He said as they started to walk together.

 

Ino nodded, smiling as he led her there.

 

They were walking down the streets, and the sun was starting to set. They eventually came to the ramen shop. "Two bowls of your Finest Ramen sir! Make them extra Delicious, price is not an option!" Hayate shouted. They sat down together and waited for their food.

 

Ino chuckled again, seeing how happy he appeared. "So Hayate," she said, "I'm glad to see you're no longer depressed."

"It's all thanks to you... I guess I really owe ya huh?" Hayate replied

"No...you've helped me more than enough times," Ino said, smiling at him.

 

"Nah... all i really did was promise to find Sasuke and... well i couldn't even do that much." Hayate replied jokingly.

 

Ryan woke up. "...Ino? Hayate?" He stood up. "OW! Jesus...INO! HAYATE!"

*shhh*

"What in God's name was that?"

 

Ino put her hand over his and said, "Sasuke doesn't matter to me any more..."
Although she said this, she hoped deep within her heart that it was true...

 

"You sure?" Hayate asked. "Cuz... if you still have feelings for him.... Then i don't mind helping you look for him..... I promised remember?" He asked.

 

"Wait...wait, WHO ARE YOU?!"

"Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha."

 

"No, no, I'm certain I don't," Ino said. "Only infatuation...remember?"
She kept telling herself this, but was it really true?

 

"That's good news... Anyway, you don't have to worry about me, i won't even think of looking at another woman!" Hayate said boldy. And what he told her was the truth, the absolute truth.
