"How did you get so injured?" Ino inquired. She knew she shouldn't be bombarding him like this, but it just popped into her head, and she was so curious about it.

 

*has a shocked look* "UM-I-I-*sigh*...I was attacked by a strange group who wanted the keyblade's power. They dressed in black and had scratches across their headbands. I tried to harness the full power of my weapon...and it worked...for 3 seconds. My body became limp, and they beat on me until I was at the brink of death. However, I'd dropped the keyblade, and they couldn't find it, so they left..."

 

Ino's eyes widened as he told her what happened, and she was silent for a few moments. "The keyblade...is it that powerful?" she asked.

 

"...Well...I don't know if you'd call this powerful, but it enhances the user's abilities-allowing them to control the elements-, and it can unlock any door, can uncover hidden secrets, and...-oh, I can't tell you the last one. If I did, YOU might wanna steal it." He said, half-joking.

 

"I'm honorable, I'd never steal anything," Ino said. "And now, you've got me curious! What else is so special about it?"

 

"Well, you DID save me...*whispers*...it is rumored to be the key to ultimate power, a rumor that hasn't been disproven, mind you."

 

Ino nodded and promised, "I won't tell anyone." Just then she realized something. "Oh, I noticed something...I never told you my name! I'm Ino, and my friend here is Hayate."

 

"Nice to meet you-both of you. Huh? AAAARGH! *falls to one knee* Heh-heh...heh. The curaga hasn't taken its toll, yet..."

 

Ino gasped and put her hand on his shoulder, helping him up. "Be careful..." she warned. "And...curaga?"

 

"A spell that'll-ungh-gradually return my strength. No worries. I...can handle this."

 

"Don't strain yourself," Ino said. "Just rest until the spell can work itself fully."

 

"Thanks, Ino." he said, laying back down. "I'm suprised people say you're unkind. You're actually a very nice person. Thank you." He then drifted off to sleep, keyblade in hand.

 

Ino widened her eyes, hearing what people had said about her. She knew she had always treated people a bit...roughly, but it was because she never wanted to admit her feelings so openly. "Just don't let anyone know what I did for you..." she muttered, not wanting to awaken him.

 

........what?.....Could you...repeat that again, Temari?

 

Hayate leaned against a tree. "I guess we should look after him til he's ready to move." He told Ino

 

Ino nodded. "Yeah..." However, her thoughts were still about the keyblade. It's so powerful...and that would mean that Ryan could be in danger...from others who want it...

 

Hayate was silent for a moment.

"...It's best if you just forgot all about the keyblade." Hayate said seriously.

 

"Huh? Why?" Ino asked, startled. "Don't tell me you thought I was thinking of stealing it..."

 

"Of course not!" Hayate said. "It's just...." Hayate paused for a bit. "...Wherever the Keyblade goes... Bloodshed Follows. And..." hayate paused again. "If anything ever happened to you I'd...." He clenched his fist so hard it started to shake a bit.
