"well sakura i can tell im not wanted here so i guess i will just leave you for now"
Neji turned and walked the other way to the town

 

"Rayce!" Ino shouted, clenching her fists. "I'm going to kill you!" She leapt off the roof and took off the ground running, in hot pursit of him. No one dares make a fool of me! she thought, indignantly.

 

Neji unintentionally rammed into the charging Ino
"sigh didnt i tell you to watch what your doing" he said as he got off the ground

 

Ino fell to the ground, making a small sound of pain as she did. "Ow..." she moaned, before looking up at Neji. "I was watching what I was doing."

 

Hayate jumped over to where neji and Ino were. "Jeez Neji can't you be a bit more gentle?" Hayate said as he held out his hand to help Ino up.

 

Ino took Hayate's hand and stood up. "I'm fine, don't worry about me," she said, dusting herself off. "It's just that Rayce..."

 

"is he really bothering you that much?" Hayate asked. "... Don't worry, i'll talk to him next time I see him." Hayate looked skyward. "Sure are a lot of stars out tonight huh?"

 

Temari was in the middle of training when she heard arguing "urgh...cant a girl train in peace"

 

Ino looked up at the starry sky and said, "Yeah..." She sighed, thinking about what she had contemplated about previously...and when Rayce had came in.

 

"...i'm sorry, i know you really want to be here with Sasuke. I mean... the REAL Sasuke." Hayate looked at Ino, and couldn't help but feel bad for her. "hey, i'm sure he'll come arround sooner or later." He said in an attempt to cheer her up.

 

"No, no, it's not that," Ino said, shaking her head slightly. "It's just that...after seeing how I was so easily - and pathetically - tricked by Rayce...I realized...that I'm so head-over-heels for Sasuke...it's like I can't see anything else, and I just make a fool of myself...this makes me wonder - is it truly love, or just infatuation?"

 

"well... it depends. have you ever made an attempt to find out about the real Sasuke? what he's like on the inside, instead of just how he looks or acts? when you do, i think that's when you'll be able to figure out whether you're truly in love, or just infactuated." Hayate sighed Heavily. "...well good luck with that, i don't think i've ever seen him open up to anybody.... But i'm sure you'll make it happen somehow." Hayate said as he smiled at her.

 

Ino was silent for a few moments, before at last returning the smile, the first one she had ever shown Hayate. "Thanks," she said. "I think you're right...if I truly want to know how I feel about Sasuke...I have to try to talk to him more, to know how he truly acts. It may be futile, but it's worth a shot."

 

He grinned at her. "hey, you look really nice when you smile, you should do it more often Ino." he paused. "... and if you need any help with your attempt to learn more about Sasuke, don't hesitate to give me a shout. I'm always glad to help. I might be kinda useless but.... I have my moments."

 

Ino was caught a bit off guard with his compliment, as no one had ever said anything good about her, but she didn't let how pleased she felt, show. "Sure," she nodded. "I will..."

 

"now don't hide that pretty smile from the rest of the world, understand?" hayate said as he held out his hand for a goodbye handshake.

 

Ino gave a small chuckle and said, "We'll see." She took his hand and shook it softly.

 

"well, see ya around." Hayate said. he turned around, waved, and started walking home. "Be careful Sasuke.... cuz if you do anything to hurt Ino i'll never forgive you." Hayate said to himself

 

Ino turned and felt her confidence anew. Sasuke...you will truly be mine now, she thought as she walked off.
