Help Name Change

Why is it that you can only have your name changed 3 times? I always though it should be more.

 

Methinks it's so the mods/admins don't get plagues and hordes of name change requests.

 

I believe that three times is plenty. However, how many times would you prefer for users to be able to change their names? 4? 6? 10? Unlimited? Be more specific than 'more than three'.

 

So you can't be a twat and want a name change every 30 seconds.

 

Pretty much what beat said. Besides, it gives you the incentive to pick good usernames.

 

I'm thinking more like 5 times.

 

Do premiums get to change their usernames 3 times every year? Or is it just three times and that's it?

 

I think just 3 times per member.

 

This is something being discussed and will be finalized soon as it has been brought up quite a few times already. If something changes from the 3 name changes per year, everyone will know soon enough. Also, the 3 times a year is for Premium members only. I'm sure you'll hear something soon in regards to this but I am not sure what the final choice is we have settled on so wait just a bit longer to find out. xD
