Name a video game which dissapointed you, but which you enjoyed as well

Crisis Core - FF7
If only the battle system was like Kingdom Hearts.

 

Super Smash Brothers Melee. Fun game, but it gets old very quickly.

 

Oh my god this game is terrible... probably the worst purchase of my life, and i've bought alot of ****** games....
But the biggest let down would have to be Halo 3. It disappointed everyone, admit it.

 

Well the one game that was made for this statement was Fable. While it wasn't a broken or bad game. It was way to overhyped by the guy who made it, hyping it to be the next coming of Jesus. So when it ended up being an average action RPG. It was disappointing, while still being a good game.

 

yeah but with Fable: the lost chapters i kindr lyked it but u jsut need the pastines (dont no how 2 spell it) to play it which is the down side and some times the enemy will b god nos how strong

 

Bionicle Heroes
Just a ripoff of Lego Star Wars that they could get away with because they're the same company
it was still fun to upgrade characters

 

I agree its only fun till the 2nd battle

 

Persona 3 and 4
I like the japanese lifestlye at this game...
but.., it's hard to level up....damn..

 

Like most have been saying, I have to go with Super Smash Bros. Melee. I had the original for the N64, so when I heard that they were making another one I was excited. I played it for 2 months and got sick of it.

 

A few other games:

XIII was/is good, though also a major disappointment. The graphics are fun, story is good and long. But the annoying voice acting o fthe SPADS soildiers frustrated me to no end. But it is cool that Dave Duchovny voiced the main character in the game.

Digimon World 3 was also great, though the lack of shortcuts and irritating boss-fights made it one of the hardest games I've ever played. I liked the variety of Digivolution, though. You can let an Agumon evolve into a Greymon, but also into a Devimon! Weird, but in a way it's cool. Also, the final battle was great.

Suikoden IV, in my opinion the best in the saga, had an engaging story, but the lack of Facial Motion graphical system almost ruined it. Also, there are only 2 early endings(I love the early endings in Suikoden), and they are pretty lame. I loved the voice acting, though.

 

Kingdom Hearts 2, simply put, PRESS TRIANGLE TO NOT FAIL.

lol but also X with xemnas wen he uses the beams....for some reason I think that is the only fun part in a boss battle other then the land of a 1000 heartless..now that was fun and I leveled up fast but only 3 times
