Gorgeous, but the text isn't great. Maybe add it over that line on the right of her? Smooth it up, too. I like the pink circle effect in most cases too, but this one feels a little random. Set it to a different blending mode or make it a light source in white. Smudging is beautiful. :]
I know what you mean about the text. This was a request so i didn't really want to put it in. You don't think there's to much neg space to the left?
I like them both a lot. I think the pink looks better on the color version, as well as the text, but the B&W matches the overall mood better. In my opinion.
