Damion had chosen to follow behind Sasha, reverting back to his usual 'avoiding interaction' personality and followed her through the alley way. It seemed that all save for two of them had chosen to do the same. Kendirck and Zauriel were with them, which lead Sasha to go into the crowd to find Zauriel. While that took care of one person there was still someone unaccounted for. After waiting around for a bit, Damion decided to venture into the crowd as well to see if he coudl find anyone. Who knows, maybe he'd get a good look at the knights as well during his search.

Jen was able to pay his full attention to the parade. Scanning around at all the colors, the displays of magic, and looking around to see if there were any important or famous people around. There may have been a couple figures walking by with his eyes just missing them, but he was aware that most of the important figures would either watch the parade than walk around. Either way, regardless of their decision, he decided since more and more people were showing up that he needed to stand up so he would not get run into anymore. Jen wrapped up what was still left of his hippogriff egg and placed it inside his bag.

Jen found himself being pushed back in the ground and he started trying to fight the crowd to stay in the front, but slowly drifted back to the back. He grew clearly angry and took a deep breath and started to glow again. Another clone was made and he told it to go try and get to the front. He shook his head as he stood on his toes to see a little more.

His timing seemed pretty good since he looked just as the Knights of Eridis made their way past. He knew the Knights were out just from how vibrant the auras were. Although he was not entirely sure if that was necessarily due to how strong their powers were... or if they had naturally strong auras. He looked around to see if there were any dragons with them and made a little disappointed noise. He was aware he wasn't going to see a dragon, they were for more important moments than this... not that this festival wasn't important. Either way, he expected to see some sort of festival dragon.

Jen pulled out another sandwich from his bag and went to eat it before he heard an unfamiliar noise. He looked around for a moment to see what it was then almost as if from a comedy, something flew over and swiped his sandwich. He let out a,
"HEY!" and followed the shadow of the flying figure to wherever it led.

Tal was watching the parade, since she had followed Kendric to where he had headed, since it seemed convenient. She watched the Knights pass and her eyes scanned them with pseudo-interest in who was there representing. The auras were certainly amazing, but she was more fascinated by just their presence, not their power. But she guessed she expected that considering these people were the heroes of her home.

    And in some cases, family.

Tal whispered under her breath to Ember,
"Hey sleepy-head. Can you see if Surrh is here?" Tal moved her hand up to stroke Ember's head but felt nothing. She froze and then frantically searched her bag before her head shot up and she started glowing a vibrant blue and she started ignoring the festivities, "Fron Ember! Meyz fundein! Sozhin?!"

Kendric watched as the last of the Eridis Knights passed by, their auras continuing to fill the road with light even long after their marching could no longer be heard over the crowd's cheers. Kendric turned, wondering if any of the others had caught up to him by now. Upon seeing no one he knew Kendric frowned in disappointment. He immediately regretted having rushed ahead without the others. Of course they would lose him in the crowd. "Come on...They couldn't have gone that far." Kendric looked over his shoulder, wondering when the next group would show up. He expected there to be participants like students to be showing up soon but, even when he squinted, he could see nothing down the road. Even those around him shifted anxiously as mummers about the delay began to spread.

Knowing he wouldn't miss anything if he turned to search for his classmates, Kendric left the front of the crowd to push his way through and look for the others. "Zauriel?" Kendric stepped on the foot of a stranger and quickly offered an apology as he pushed onward. "Sasha? Tal? Dami-" A loud rumble from the sky caused him to stop and look up at the dark clouds. Was it really going to rain? The very air began to vibrate as the rumbling only grew louder...only it wasn't the same kind that would come from thunder. It sounded more like something was pushing air rather than cracking through it. The sound began to grow more distinct and it quickly became clear what it really was. Flapping.

There must have been several dozen of them flying in formation. Dragons. Each the size of...well, a dragon. And as they began to fly towards the street the crowd and Kendric let out a collective gasp. Each dragon carried in its foreclaws a single metal golem. They dropped the golems onto the street in rows of two before landing themselves in front of the metal automatons. "You've...gotta be kidding me." The crowd went wild at the sight. Dragons rarely made an appearance at the yearly celebration and the same went for golems but seeing both? Neither beast nor golem needed to do more than stand still to be an impressive sight. On average the dragon's stood taller than Kendric and were at least four times as long as he was tall.

As Kendric backed up to appreciate the sight he immediately bumped into someone in the crowd. "Sorry!" Turning around to face what he assumed was a stranger, Kendric smiled upon seeing who it was. "Zauriel! I thought I'd never find anyone. Sorry for running off like that. Did you find anyone else?" Kendric looked to see if any of the others were with his olive-haired friend. None were. "Can you believe it!? Dragons! Golems! I don't know why my father never told me they were making an appearance." Kendric glanced at the magic screen above the street watching as his father clapped from his place behind Eridis's leader. Clearly the man was not surprised like the politicians were.

The sound of rolling thunder echoed in the distance. Kendric's eyes shifted towards the sky as he wondered if the oncoming storm would hold back just long enough for the parade to end. It probably wouldn't but he had to hope a little bit of rain would not kill the mood.

Damion was still stuck in the crowd, trying to traverse his way towards the end when he heard the thunder like sound in the air. It sounded like going to rain. While that wouldn't be much of a issue for him since he had a hood on his jacket, it would mean something for the festival. Damion didn't know just what it would be but there would probably be something that would happen.

The thundering sound had gotten louder and louder until the source had came into view, but it wasn't rain at all. It was dragons, dragons that were carrying golems that flew threw the air. Just the sight of this alone was pretty amazing and left Damion speechless. The crowd around him for the most part seemed to have similar reactions to the spectacle that occurred above them. His mind was too preoccupied with the sight of the flying dragons to care about the sounds of a potential storm in the distance. He still wasn't all to condensed with it, but you never know what might happen.

A sound between a meow and a snarl escaped Zauriel's throat as the dragons and golems landed behind him. He spun around, golden eyes turning to slits and hair standing on end. His body tensed, but as soon as he saw the dragons, the noise turned to a purr and a Zauriel grinned. "Oh, my scales and horns!" He exclaimed, hopping in place excitedly. As if that morning's exam had not happened, Zauriel felt great. His eyes shifted to their normal green, but remained slitted. Horns grew and curved as his skin darkened slightly and thin lines stenciled his body. Nails embedded themselves and grew into claws while teeth sharpened and became fangs. To top it off, he felt his tongue fork slightly at the tip. Even still, Zauriel's body ached for more, but Zauriel limited it.

As energy pulsed through his body from excitement, Zauriel darted forward to get a better view, but was stopped by- "Kendric! Dragons! Yes, dragons! How magnificent, yes? I could live without the golems after this morning, but DRAGONS!!" Literally, hopping in place, the shapeshifter grabbed Kendric's shoulders -careful not to dig his claws into skin- and twisted him to face the dragons together. "All that majesty," he whispered, awe-struck, "all of the freedom of the skies," he continued, almost in a trance, before snapping out of it and donning a solemn expression. "...All of that power," he growled.

"Oh, your father? Hmm, that is curious," he pondered, looking away. "My mother did not mention it either, but I would not be surprised if she simply did not know, for all of her machinations and grabs at authority." Watching the dragons, still with awe, Zauriel kept his hand on Kendric's shoulder.

"Ah poo. I just made this situation even worse didn't I." The more Sasha waved through the crowd, the more she got confused, to the point where the sheer amount of people blocked her vision all around her. "Crap. Now I think I'm lost as well. Ugh. Might as well sit this through until the parade ends. At least the crowd will move along, eventually leading me back to my friends...hopefully. Ooh I hope the others are still together. If we all search, we're all gonna get separated."

As she looked around for some sort of landmark to pinpoint her location, the loud bang in the sky startled her. "Ack! That was some violent thunder-oh wait it's dragons!" Dragons was a rare sight for Sasha. Mostly because they scare her to holy hell, but she also was fascinated by their majesty and beauty. Something like birds, but on a larger scale. "Oh wow...Makes me wanna attend every parade from now on then...probably just before all the politic stuff gets in."
