Mysterious PSP Item

A mysterious PSP item was found by a certain SCE editor who wishes to remain nameless when he left his seat. It is a PSP software that will be on sail December 6th.

So far Dengeki (Japanese Magazine) is completely baffled by this, and can not understand a purpose for this pen at all, yet.

 

As am I. I didn't really understand the quote on the pen.

And the Japanese are different. They don't use asterisks in the same manner we do. To them, it's not just reserved for inappropriate words; it could be used to hide any 'secret' word they intended.

 

When you say on sale Dec. 6 do you mean only in Japan?

I don't think it's a Death Note pen, it would probably be marked with Death Note related things if it were, and there are already 2 Death Note games for the DS (which I mean, when you think about it, is what makes sense), so I think this is some Playstation related peripheral and not directly related to a game..

Maybe it's for a handwriting-to-text app for the PSP? Write with the pen, and it goes on your PSP?

The full extent of my joke was it was an IRL Death Note pen that would be used in conjunction with an IRL Death Note... that just wouldn't exist.

It could be a DN pen. The word "death" was capitalized and the sentance said "As for the usage, the Death and destruction of the gods"
It clearly states that it is used for death. Ironic?

 

But the Death Note is used to kill Humans, not destroy Gods
