Could God make a taco so hot that he himself could not eat it?

It is questions like these that make me think....

But, this could be intelligent... if we look at it in the right way. Is God really the most powerful being out there? There must be something that can stop him, although I don't know what that is.

 

Well, if God could to anything, technically God could kill himself with his own mind, levetate spoons, curl himself into a ball, and other stuff like that...

That doesn't make any sense. If there is a being more powerful than God, then that being is really God, huh? God is the most powerful being in the universe. So if there is a being more powerful than being X, then being X is not God.

 

Eat this muffinman. Could God eat a taco, throw-up that taco, then eat himself and then could he eat the taco? Crap.....I'm puttin; that on my myspace, that's some serious dirt-logic right there.

 

yes, he could. The logic behind what I said was that if he can do anything can he eat a taco so hot that he himself cannot eat it. That would contradict God being able to do anything. From what you said I doesn't seem to contradict the fact that he can do anything, unless I'm missing something.

 

This topic is very interesting...but it seems the point has already been made.

The only argument a christian would have, TMM, is that god COULD create this taco, but he would wouldn't be able to eat it because no taco could get that hot....wow...this topic raises interesting questions...indeed...

"Could God make a clone of himself that he could destroy?" He is indestructable unless he were to do something to himself. What if it was like The Santa Clause 2?! There's a question that will really knock your socks off. Or, or... well that's it. :D

 

hmmm... I would say yes. Becasue the clone is just a clone.

 

I would say no, then there would be two gods and not one.

 

but than that brings back the question that can god do anything? so this topic is really endless. We can keep discussing it over and over again, but it will remain endless after each confusing and thought filled discussion and each post.

If God can do anything then he could.....but then again since he can do anything he can withstand it...........................man i'm baffled

 

In all honesty it is a question that is beyond our understanding and that is that. This was discussed in another forum I am on and no conclusion was reached I think they are still discussing it. (This was a couple years ago, mind you). It is in short and unanswerable question. Definately a mystery of life.

I think... God could create it, what He would do with said taco, I don't know, but there is no doubt in my mind that He could create a taco so hot that He could not eat it.

 

I think TehMuffinMan's idea of the taco isn't realistic. Partly becau-..no...mostly because if a Taco did get that hot, it would have been fried and wouldn't be on this earth at such a point.

The ultimate argument I still find here is that if God can do anything, then he can do anything you all say. (Not counting unrealisticism).

But wouldn't unrealisticness be something he could do because he can do anything? Yes...it does make much sense, however. =\
