Mylachia's Story - - The New Keyblade Master

Chapter 1



“Young one...come closer....†A mysterious voice called out from the darkness to a young girl, whose face and body was concealed by a black cloak.

“Who...are you? And what do you want?†The girl replied to the voice. She looked around but saw no one. The voice had not replied. “H-hello?â€

“Come closer and reveal yourself to me.†The voice called out again, but in a deeper and stronger tone.

“How can I come closer if I don’t even know where you are?†The girl replied while putting her hands on her hips. She waited for a reply, but didn’t receive one. She folded her arms and waited a few more minutes. “Fine...I’m leaving.â€

“Don’t go!†The voice yelled at the young girl. The girl screamed in pain as the voice called out to her. She fell down on her knees with her arms over her head. She didn’t know why it had caused her so much pain...but she knew that the voice did it on purpose.

“What do you want?†She yelled while getting up. She ran around the room looking for a face, body, hand, leg, foot, even a strand of hair would do, but found nothing.

“Just take off the hood and everything will be all right...†The voice faded, as well as her vision.

“Mylachia! Time to get up!†That was the first thing the girl had heard. “Mylachia!â€

Oh, I don’t want to get up. “Just five more minutes!†Mylachia replied to the familiar voice.

“No, get up now! Some one’s here to see you!†The girl opened her eyes once she heard this. She revealed beautiful green eyes with little specks of blue. She slowly got up and sat on her bed. She fell silent and looked down at her pale feet. “Mylachia, are you up?â€

Mylachia ran her fingers through her long, wavy, orange hair. “Yes ma! I’ll be down in a few minutes!†She turned her head towards the window and looked outside to see a red bicycle parked on their driveway. Yes, he is here! She quickly got out bed and ran to her closet. What to wear...what to wear... she thought to herself as she looked through her clothes. After a couple minutes of scanning through her clothing, she finally picked a couple of things. The first item was a red tanktop that was form-fitting. She had also chosen black jeans and her white sneakers. She looked into her mirror to see how she looked. I look good.

After a couple of minutes of studying herself in the mirror, she heard her mother call once again. “Mylachia!â€

“Oh, right...Coming!†She called back. She ran out of her room and down the stairs into the kitchen. “Hey, what’s for breakfast?†She asked her mother who was washing the dishes.
“Oh...well,†she said while wiping her hands on her apron, “cold eggs and bacon, just the way you like them!’ She glared at Mylachia and continued to wash the dishes. “Oh, and Devyn’s here.†She shifted her head towards the living room. Mylachia noticed a boy with shaggy brown sitting on the couch.

“Mind if I...skip breakfast?†Mylachia tried to tiptoe into the next room but was confronted by her little brother Cedric. “What do you want, tweeb?â€

“I think he’s trying to help me out.†Her mother came over and kissed Cedric on the head. Go on outside Cedric. You have eaten breakfast.†The little boy grabbed his jacket and ran out the door. “As for you, young lady,†She stared at Mylachia. “You haven’t even looked at your food for more than a second. Now, go eat...you don’t have to eat a lot.â€

Mylchia groaned as she went to the kitchen table. She looked down at her food and then back at her mom, who gave her the ‘look of despair’, as she liked to call it. She ate one spoonful and got up.

“And where do you think you’re going?†Her mother followed Mylachia with her hands on her hips.

“You said I didn’t have to eat a lot.†She replied as she walked into the living room. “Hi Devyn.†She said as she sat next to him.

“Hey,†he said as he looked at her. “What’s up?â€

“Fine, Mylachia, you know what...just go...you’re right, I did say that. Now go, before I change my mind.†Her mother put her hands on the back of the chair and looked down as if she was deep in thought.

“We’d better go...†Mylachia whispered to Devyn. “She tends to change her mind quickly.â€

“Gotcha!†They quickly got up and ran out the door. Once outside Devyn looked at Mylachia. “So, what do you want to do today? Go to the beach....go to the mall...explore the woods, maybe a couple of caves...what?†He nudged Mylachia on the shoulder. She didn’t respond. “Hey, what’s up...you usually bolt up and say ‘To the mall’. I think we just made a break-though! We have to tell the world!†He looked back at her with a big grin on his face, only to realize that she was not amused. “No really, what’s up?â€

She looked out tards the ocean and bit her lip. “Devyn,†She closed her eyes before continuing her statement. “Do you...think it’s possible...for someone to contact you in your dreams?â€

Mylachia's Story Chapter 2

Chapter 2



Devyn just looked at Mylachia as if she had lost her mind. “Well, I...well, its...” He couldn’t find the right words to say to her. He didn’t know if it was possible.

“You...you think I’m crazy don’t you?” Mylachia said while crossing her arms and walked towards the beach.

“So you want to go to the beach, huh?” Mylachia just glared at him and looked back out to the ocean. “Ok, I’m sorry. I just don’t know if it’s possible for someone to communicate with you in your dreams. You mean like an outside source, right?” Devyn put his arm around Mylachia’s shoulder. “...Right?”

She gave a smile and said “Yeah...right.” She walked out further and sat upon a boulder. “It’s just that...I don’t know, it was weird.”

Devyn walked slowly towards her and sat next to her on the boulder. “What was weird?” He said as he put his hand on her knee.

“The whole...dream.” She hesitated and looked at Devyn. She realized that he wanted to know more by the look on his face. “Ok. What is was, was that I was in a room, a really dark room. And, there was this voice, a voice that seemed very familiar, yet strange, to me. It was powerful. At one point it sent me to my knees. It was awful. Anyways, he kept on telling me to take off my hood so he could see the real me. I had no idea what he meant...but it seemed as if...he wanted to...hunt me down or something...like I was victim in that room...”

“So, did you take off the hood or not?” Devyn said with curiosity in his eyes. Mylachia could tell he was enjoying this, she didn’t know if it was for the right reasons though.

“You’re enjoying this, huh? You think I’m just imagined this and everything is going to be fine, don’t you?” Mylachia said as she stood up and looked down at Devyn. She quickly turned her back towards him and crossed her arms.

He shifted his eyes away, then towards her again. “Mylachia,” he said as he tried to get up, but he stumbled and fell on his back. Mylachia tried to hold back the laughter but failed. “You find this funny?”

She kept on laughing. “You should see yourself! The look on your face is priceless!” She continued to laugh. She was soon dragged down by Devyn and they laid down next to each other on the sand. “It’s so beautiful today, you know? I can’t wait to see what the day holds out for us.”

Devyn looked over at Mylachia and simply stated, “Yeah, it sure is beautiful.”

“Hmm....I can’t believe it didn’t work!” We now see a man in a brown cloak, sitting at a computer. He dropped his fist on the desk as if he was in anger. “Why didn’t it work?” He got up and started to pace around the room. He kept talking to himself about dreams, visions, and a young girl. He soon heard footsteps coming down from the corridor. The footsteps quickly stopped, followed by three light knocks.

“Come in,” he said while rubbing his neck from the stress. He looked towards the door to see a woman, who too, was in a brown cloak. “Did you settle the situation?”

“Yes, I did. How about you? Did your plan...work?” She said while walking towards the man.

“No, it failed. I mean, I contacted her, but she was so.....what’s the word for it....hesitant...”

“Reluctant listen to you?” The woman stated to finish his sentence.

“Yes, that’s the word I’m looking for.” The man put his hands back on the desk and put his head down as in deep in thought. “I just don’t understand. She was just...I don’t know...she...I know that this is the girl!”

“How do you know?” The woman now seated her self upon the desk. “How do you know she’s the one? Don’t tell me it’s just a feeling because last time it turned out to be a dud.”

“I just know! All right? I could tell, by the way she walked and her attitude...it just fit! She seemed like it was her duty to be the next...” He was soon interrupted by knocking on his door. “WHAT?!?!?”

Another cloaked figure came into the room. “Boss, there’s some trouble upstairs. It seems that the rest of the members are fighting over who will take their first stab at the new...”

“All right, I know what you’re going to say. I’ll settle it, all right. Just go on up ahead of me and tell the others that they’re in for a surprise.” The two cloaked members listened and went up to the next floor. The man looked at his computer and simply said, “I will get you to reveal yourself, young one.”

Mylachia quietly opened the door to her house and peeked inside. She so no one. Maybe I can actually get away with sneaking in this time. She started to tiptoe up the stairs and once she reached the door to her room she silently said, “Yes, I did it!” Once she opened the door, though, all the hope went away. For her mother, was silently sitting on her bed.

“About time you got home. It’s almost midnight. You missed your curfew by a good two hours, young lady. Now what do you have to say for yourself?” Her mother got up, crossed her arms, and walked towards Mylachia.

“Umm......traffic?” Mylachia forced a smile, but she could tell that it didn’t work.

“You and I both know that neither you nor Devyn can drive yet.” Her mother sighed and continued on. “I’m too tired to talk about this right now. I’ll see you right away in the morning.” She pointed her finger at Mylachia then walked out the room, closing the door tightly behind her. Mylachia quickly jumped on her bed and laid down. Wonder if I’ll have that dream again. Right after she said this, she feel asleep.

OMG! I wanna know who those people are! At first I thought it would be someone similar to DiZ but obviously this is a totally different kind of story. But I'm still curious: does this story have anything to do with KH? I'll stop making theories about it if it doesn't. Amazing job once again khchick! I didn't get a chance to read the second half earlier but now I can't wait to read the next part!!!

Mylachia's Story Chapter 3

Chapter 3



Mylachia now found herself in the same attire and in the same room she was in the night before. It was still dark, but she could just make out where she was. She saw dozens and dozens of shelves packed with tons of books. She went up to one shelf and ran her fingers across the bindings of the books. She read the titles as she went along. “The Heart, What is it Really?”, “The Heart’s True Essence”, “Light vs. Dark : Who Will Win in the End?” , “The Four Parts of A Person”, “Heartless, Nobodies, and Chasers.” She finally came across a book that stood out, to her at least, “The Legendary Key Wielder.” She took it out and read the first few sentences.

“The greatest keyblade wielder that had ever lived, actually turned out to be the youngest of them all. The reason why he was the greatest was because of the resource of his power, his heart was stronger than most. Most believe the reason why it was so strong was because of his great courage and bravery during many battles. But all the true keyblade wielders of light, twilight, dawn, and even darkness, know that it was because of the love he shared with those he cared for, even those of his enemies.”​

“Okay, let’s try this again.” Mylachia gasped at the sound of the voice. She quickly turned around to see that no one was there. What the heck is going on here?

“All right, enough with the games. Why do you want to know what I look like?” Mylachia said, while searching the room for the source of the voice, but found nothing.

“Looks are no longer important to me.” After he said this, the shelf that Mylachia was inspecting lifted up to reveal a hall leading down into darkness.. “Come down here. I want to show you something.”

Mylachia looked down the corridor but saw nothing. “How do I know that this isn’t a trap?” Mylachia crossed her arms and just looked down the corridor, wanting to know if he was down there.

The voice chuckled and simply replied, “It’s not a trap! Unless, you want it to be...Now are you coming or not?” The voice boomed louder than ever before and it made Mylachia wince.

“Okay, okay, I’m coming.” Mylachia slowly glanced down the corridor. She took one step and lights from the ceiling started to flicker. The light was a pale blue, giving the hallway a mysterious and cautious feeling. Here I go. She walked down the corridor for about ten minutes, but all she saw was darkness and the pale, blue light. She then saw a different light emanating from a window in the ceiling. She looked up through the window and saw a heart-shaped moon. “What the–okay, this is weird....I’m leaving!” She started to walk back the opposite way, but a door shut on her.

“The only way to go is the way you were originally going.” It was a different voice this time, a female voice. “Now, move it!”

Mylachia quickened at the sound of her voice. It made her feel like she was being rushed. Before she knew it, she came upon a room that was tinted red. It looked similar to the room she was previously in, but there were weird symbols and names on the wall. Symbols and names that she didn’t understand.

“Glad you could make it.” Mylachia, once again, tried to find the source of the voice but found none. She saw nothing except for books, little scraps of paper, and random things, but nothing that the voice seemed to emanate from.

“Okay, guys, enough with the games. What’s the surprise?” Mylachia said putting her hands on her hips.

The voices chuckled. “Wouldn’t you like to know?” The female voice replied. “Well, you came all the way down here, we might as well give it to you.” All of a sudden a black hole formed in front of Mylachia and a black creature jumped out from it. The pressure was so hard, that it caused her hood to fall off her head and fall on her back.

“Yes! We finally get to see the real you!” The voices burst out in evil laughter.

The creature that pounced on her looked like a large bug with it’s antennae and huge yellow eyes. It just stared at her, waiting for her to do something. “Get off of me you...you..thing!” The creature just stared at her and lifted up an arm, ready to strike at her. “NO!!!!” Mylachi threw up her hand and before she knew it, a weapon appeared. It looked like an enormous key, a key that could unlock things. What the things were she didn’t know, but she knew that it could destroy this creature. Still holding on to the weapon, she dropped it on top of the creature to make it back away and finally dissolve into nothing. She stood up and went into a stance waiting for more of the creatures to appear. “Come on! I know what to summon more, if you want to, get it over with!”

The voices chuckles once more. “We no longer need to do that, since we’ve seen the real you and you’re marvelous weapon, the keyblade. You, are the next keyblade weilder!” The male voice replied. “Did you enjoy fighting the heartless?”

Mylachia just snarled at his voice. “So now what?” Mylachia said, as the keyblade disappeared.

The female was the next to reply. “We won’t be bothering you anymore so don’t worry. Besides, you’re going to need all that sleep for your journey to come. Now off you go!” As soon as she said her last sentence, a black hole formed under Mylachia, which sent her downward. All Mylachia could do is scream, scream for help, hoping, praying someone would hear her.

Mylachia was tossing and turning in her bed, wanting to escape her dream. For some reason though, she couldn’t. She then let out a huge scream which caused her mother to come in. She just stared at her daughter then ran to her daughter’s side.

“Mylachia,” She said while shoving her trying to get up. Mylachia just tossed and turned more, as if she was trying to run away from someone, or something. “Mylachia! Mylachia, wake up!” By this time, Cedric had come into the room.

“What’s wrong with her, Mama?” Cedric said, while holding his teddy and rubbing his eyes. HE then ran to his mother’s side to see exactly what was going on. “Mama, what’s wrong?”

“I don’t know.” She kept on shoving Mylachia trying to wake her up. “Mylachia!” She finally put her hands on her face and screamed, “Myalchia!”

Mylachia then woke up, screaming and panting. She looked around the room, as if she had forgotten where she was. “Where am I?” Her face was soon squeezed by her mother’s hands.

“Mylachia, sweetie...” Mylachia just stared at her, with confusion in her eyes. She didn’t know if what she had seen was real, or just a vision of her imagination.

“Mom....” She hesitated, not knowing her mother would say. Her mother never understood her, she was hoping, that just this once, that her mother would understand her. “...What...happened?”

Her mother grabbed her hands and rubbed them with her fingers. “You had a nightmare...”

“But it couldn’t have been a nightmare, it was too real! I mean there were these voices, and corridors, this strangely shaped moon, there was talk of heartless and nobodies and whatnot, there was this creature that jumped on top of me, then I had a keyblade....” Mylachia stopped after she said that, because she realized her mother’s face drew pale and her eyes widened. “Mom...what’s wrong?”

Her mom seemed like she was in a trance, as if her spirit had left her. “Mom!”

“Huh?” Mylachia was staring in her eyes, seeing if she was all right. “OH, um...I’m fine. Honey,” She kissed Mylachia on the forehead. “Go to sleep.” She got up and brought Cedric towards the door.

“Mama, what’s a keyblade? And what’s a heartless?” Cedric looked up at his mother, with his big blue eyes.

“Uhh...I don’t know, honey. Now go to bed.” She gave Cedric a little shove and he ran down the hallway and into his room. She looked back at Mylachia, whose arms were crossed and she was tapping her fingers on her left arm. “..What?”

Mylachia just sighed. “Why did you do that? You obviously know what all of this is about.”

Her mother just looked at her then down at the floor. “You’re right. I know..what...this...is all about.” She then looked at Mylachia who had a sense of relief over her face.

“Well, can you tell me?” Mylachia asked her mother who was trying to leave the room.

“Maybe in the morning. Now, get some sleep, you’ve had a hard night.” Her mother left her room and closed the door behind her.

Mylachia kept staring at the doorway for a few more minutes, wondering exactly why this keyblade was so important. Her eyes slowly closed. Before she fell asleep, she muttered the words “Kingdom Hearts.”
