My thoughts on Sora and Kairi

LMAO what are you talking about man? Kairi less appealing? Nomura and the rest of them aren't stupid...I for one dont like Kairi, but do u know how many people though kairi was "hot" in kh1? After seeing kh2 and her new outfit, everyone was like "OMG ITS KAIRI SHES EVEN HOTTAR?"

If anything, Nomura is going to make kairi even more appealing in kh3 I mean

1. most guys will be so happy when they find out kairi is even hotter and this time and kicking ass...
2. if making kairi look ****tier will get more money, then so be it...

in the end...nomura is a businessman...and businessman like to do business...and make money...

Holy crap! I hope not. I do think that girls though can look decent in a full dress of clothes and hope that they consider giving Kairi better attire that she can be combat maneuverable in so that it doesn't look like she's always going to show us her panties or boobs every other scene. She can look 'hot' and not do that. Riku and Kairi were both made to be 'hotter' to appease fans but at least Riku's belt seemed to be holding his pants up which otherwise would have fallen off. Kairi's dress was just absolutely impractical. I really hope they don't ruin her more in KH3 by going the way of Soul Calibur. That was just an awesome example of how it could go though! I was laughing my arse off.

 

Your laughing now... but its going to happen watch. I seen this happen on every video game which has had a few sequals and a girl character.

Each succeeding chapter, the girl gets more and more "attracitve" until the point where she looks like a character from Heavy Metal.

When Ivy, the character whos pic I used for SC4 came out in Soul Calibur, I thought she was very attractive, in each succeeding sequal, she has looked less and less appealing. In SC4 she almost doesnt even look human.

This is actually what she looked like in SC1.

I hope that doesnt happen to Kairi, but I fear it will... :(

 

Gah, I hope not. Kairi reminded me of a friend of mine in High School. If she even LOOKS like SC4 Ivy I'll be rather......disturbed.

 

I think we all would. If she looked more like a tramp it would make her a pretty lame Princess of Heart. Part of the point of her being one is her 'purity' of Heart. I would find it annoying and probably loathe the character if she shows up in some get up like Soul Calibur.

What's sad is that I liked Ivy in Soul Calibur in the beginning and now in SC4 she just doesn't even look like the same girl.

 

Well maybe SC4 Ivy's shoes would be okay but other than that...........:(

 

To me, Kairi has a lot of resemblance to Amy in the Sonic games. They both are sort of pigeon toed and has one hand behind their backs and holding onto the other arm. Amy and Kairi also wear pink, but Kairi's is still a little more revealing.

 

Eh. Sora has a bit of personality. Slightly. The one scene in KH1, the one I saw a thousand times. The one before you fight the final Riku, he shows some emotion there.

But apart from that, he is stupidly happy. I do not want him go the way of Harry Potter, and become a whiney prat, but I think that DiZ was right. Sora is far too happy.

 

Pika_Power is right. Everyone complains about Kari's lack of a personality. But no one notices Sora is just a idiot that vomits sunshine and candy everywhere he goes.

He has no persnonality other than happiness. Even DiZ said so.

 

It's suprising too, that he actually seems excited to fight bad guys all the time....One minute he saying "We gotta go fight Ansem!" the second after he says that, he's saying "Don't worry, _________, we'll help you

Sora is too nice for his own good. Have you ever seen any of the other keyblade masters being nice? Riku: Uses darkness in kh1 for some personal gains, Master Xehanort:Bad ass all the way, Terra:Cool and bad, Aqua:She has boobs, Ven:Hyper active running fast as hell kid. Mickey and Sora are gay keyblade masters.

 

Its true. All of sora's lines are on a template.

Everytime something bad happens he offers to help. Some characters are like "What? Why are you helping me so quick?" Tron was the funniest... because he though everyone was that unnaturally nice.

 

In Chain of memories,Sora actually got angry and wasn't purely optimistic. I don't know what Nomura did with Sora,but I think they went with the wrong direction for him in KH2; when I played the game I couldn't really take Sora seriously.I'm not saying I hate Sora,but I think they should work on his character a bit more in KH3. If they combined Sora's awesome moves and attire in KH2 with his personality in COM,then he would be more enjoyable to play as. As for Kairi you're right Gritz,Kairi is too one-dimensinal.

 

Well Sora has the power of light. I guess the light has affected him in some manner.

 

Dude... he got mad in KH2 as well... but it was in a sceene totally uncalled for. It was right after he killed Demyx. But it was ironic that he didnt get that mad after Saix made him beg.

I think Sora is a poorly written character. He walks around and vomits sunshine when characters are mean to him. Yet he gets mad over stupid things.

 

I totally get where you guys are coming from, but my best friend is Sora in a girl's body. I mean, honestly, it's not like his personality is unrealistic, nor is it unrealistic that he befriended Riku. And even if you say "He's been through too much to be that happy," that's not true, cause that's what optimism is. So yes, his characteristics are verging on bordenline-insanely annoying, you can't say that the way he is is, like, fake.

That made sense in my head, does anyone else get what I'm saying?

 

I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. I believe that also. Did you notice that after in Kingdom Hearts 1, that when Sora became a Heartless.....he was A LOT nicer? That also supports your theory on that it was given to Roxas (which I believe also). I think that having a nobody isn't always a good thing.

 

Sora is like a manic depresant... with out the depresion. He is unrealistically optimistic. He is like the guy, who is so happy, that no one likes him because of his happiness.

 

Yeah, I see what you are saying....it kinda saddens me because he is just so cool with his forms.....he just has to ruin it with his happiness haha. His heart is in the right place, but he just can't.....stop...being happy! lol
