My stupid computer keeps on turning itself off by itself. When I restart it. It acts like I shut it down manually. My older brother says it is the power supply cord. Are there any businesses that would sell these?

    It might have been overheating.
In some cases like Laptops and such if you leave your laptop on for too long it'll shut down automatically from overheating. But it's mostly because it's location. Where you're sitting it, etc.
But if it's a Desktop, I have no idea. D:

I had a computer that did that. It turned out to be the motherboard, and it eventually shorted out and would no longer turn on.

As for a power supply cord, you might have to order it from the computer company, but just check at some normal places like Best Buy first. I would suggest getting it checked out if that doesn't fix the problem.

if it is a desktop, it might not be breathing. if there is stuff around the vents, clear it away.

I check the vents daily to make sure nothing gets in them and it couldn't be overheating because I could've just got onto the user menu and it shuts down.
I noticed a flickering light under the glowing power button so I know it's the power supply cord.

I'll try best buy the next time we go thanks.

It's not the cord. The flickering light is like that in all computers. The problem is some hardware. Maybe some fan isn't working ok, so the CPU might be overheating. Or it could be the power supply unit, if it can't give enough power to the motherboard. Maybe you installed something lately like a new graphics card that needs more power and the power supply unit cannot give this much power.
I suggest you take it to someone to fix it. This wau you'll be sure about the problem and you won't have to worry about fixing it yourself.

We havent put anything new in it as far as I know. It's Ruon and I'm back anyway but it does make a screeching noise so it could be the fans.
