My life so far.

Crap. Craponastick. Craponapickupstick. Craponapickupstickthathaspolkadots. Craponapickupstickthathaspolkadotsthatlooklikelittleheartsbutareactuallyjustmishapenreddots. I can't believe Lexi left! WHAT WAS HER DEAL!?!?!?!?!?!?! She was the most calm and collected girl I know! To any of you who've had your hearts broken, tough luck To any of you who had your heart go through that disgusting visual i described before, I feel for you.

I blew up the locks on the shackles and ran after Lexi. She couldn't have gone too far, right? RIGHT? I don't see you nodding! Oh, well, Rudie McRuderpants. Sorry, I'm a little ticked, and when I'm ticked, i get edgy. VERY EDGY.

As I was walking out of the cave, CLB approached me. "Hello." She said subtly. I looked around. We were on the face of a cliff, and CLB was standing on a rock sticking out of the cliff face a few feet away. "By now, I'm sure you've recognized me..." I looked at her. This is why her pet name was CLB. Anyway, she put on a black hood, and some black pants from her pocket. After she got all dressed, which took about 12 minutes(women!), I noticed what the crap she was talking about. She was a guy-girl- in black!

I got into my attack position. "What the frick is going on? WHY DID YOU HELP US!?!? Who--WHO ARE YOU!" I shouted at her. notice the EDGINESS! "A friend" CLB relpied. "I don't want to hurt you. My name is Irvitch." I chuckled a bit, biting my lips to hold my laughter. Irvitch? You've gotta be kidding me! "There's nothing FUNNY about my name." Cl-Irvitch replied, now sounding a little irritated.

"My name comes from a tribe of great warriors, meaning 'Killer of many males'" I looked taken aback. WTH? "So what's your deal? You've come from the dudes in black to terrorize me and Lexi before we die in a few months?" I said, totally P.O.ed. "I wouldn't say terrorize... BUT I WOULDN"T SAY I WON"T BOTHER YOU, EITHER!" She screamed. I was like, what the heck, when all of a sudden her black cape flew off somewhere, and in a few seconds came back revealing a double bladed broadsword with two sides, and it was glowing!

"If it's a fight you want, then I'm not your man!" I shouted back to her. But then she grinned evil, and stepped 5 feet sideways. She held Lexi in her hands, bound and gagged. She was struggling to get out, but nothing happened. SHE GOT LEXI! THIS CROSSES THE LINE! I DON"T CARE ABOUT FIGHTING A GIRL! THAT WICTH IS GOING DOWN!

 

Oh, God, was I mad! My killer instinct came in just in time. I lunged at Irvitch, or, as we'll call her, Irwitch. She blocked me, and then tried to give me an uppercut with her quadruple sword thingy. 4 Blades, 2 sides. Total CRAP! I, suprisingly blocked it with my forearm. I guess I was getting even stronger! I gave her a punch and she flew backwards.

Then, before she had time to get up, I swung my leg around and it hit her right in the stomache! Then I kicked again and it hit the side of her. I wondered if she got what I was doing. Oh, well. It was working! I quickly kicked the other side of her and, I felt bad about this, kicked her in the neck. Then I kicked her right below her belly button, and step backed.

She was temporaraly paralyzed. But wait. That was TOO easy. I was right when I noticed her sword fly at me from the side. I grabbed it, burned it, and left after untying Lexi. I walked to the cave, and she followed me. "Listen, Lexi, I'm sorry--" I was cut off by her.

"No, Evan. I'm the one who should be sorry. I ran away, and nearly got us BOTH killed! I didn't mean what I said back there, I was just angry at the world! It's already been 4 months, you know." 4 MONTHS! WE ONLY HAVE 2 MONTHS TO LIVE UNLESS WE FIND THAT RING! "Hey, Lexi, remember what the books that clue was?" Look in the center of the town"? We did, so maybe theres some stuff where the center took us!" I said.

"You're right! Let's look around!" We looked around, and all we found was some fur, which was weird because the Leviathan had scales. EHHH! After a while, I leaned on a wall and fell through it. it opened from the side, and Lexi came in, too. In the room we fell into, there was a big alter on top of a bunch of stairs in the middle of the room. We climbed the stairs, and on top of the alter, there was a glowing hourglass.

I touched it, and automaticly it said: "Life forced drained. Days to live: 7"

IT DRAINED OUR LIFE FORCE TO A WEEK LEFT!

 

Lexi and I were freaking out. "What do we do!? We're not even close to the rings! How will we get them! That was the last clue in the book!" Things like that were being shouted very quickly, over and over again.

"Ok, do you have ANY leads as to what we can do to stop it? Wait, wait, wait a mintue! Go search Irvitch!" We ran outside and searched her. We found a ripped page of the book inside of her pocket, but it looked like it had been soaked in blood. Oops.

I carefully washed it out with some water, then took all the water out of it. It was clean. It said, in actual words: "It is good you have made it thus far, children. Now I am sorry to say I can be of no more help to you, except for this. The ring is where you'd least expect it. Not in a place that is beautiful, but a place soaked by the sea. I leave you with one more day to finish your quest,"

We felt our life force getting drained again. Great. Only 1 day left! "Um, lexi, what do we do?" I asked her, finally out of a plan.

She just smiled at me. "Search the sea." That was all she said, but I knew what she meant. It took about an hour to find a way put of the cave, and another 2 to get back to town. Plus it took about a half hour to get to the ocean. We only had 21 and 1/2 hours until total destruction.

We started searching right away. I would lift up the ocean, and Lexi would make holes in the ground and search. This went on for about 18 hours, which meant we only had 3 1/2 hours left. We finally found something in one of the holes. It was a very dirty, old ring.

"Do you think this could be it?" Lexi asked. I nodded, and we put it on, somehow getting it on both of our pointer fingers. We heard it say: "Hours drained." before everything went black.

It seemed like I was floating in nothing, and I couldn't see anything. was I...

Dead?

{Sorry it's another short chapter, but at least there are a lot of them!}

 

It felt good to be dead. I was extremely calm, and I had no worries. Ah, who am I kidding? DEATH WAS THE WORST THING EVER! It was so fricking boring! I thought my mind would explode! I couldn't get up, it was like I was paralyzed! And to add to it, there was this annoying ticking sound in my left ear >.>

I had no idea how long this horror time went on, but it felt like forever. I decided to meditate, until i realized I COULDN"T CONTROL MY BREATHING BECAUSE I WAS PARALYZED! After hours and hours of agony and suicidal thoughts, something finally happened. YAYETH!

There was a huuuuuuuuuuge flash of light, and in my mind, I heard: "Hours restored. Thank you for using The Ring" Was I...alive?! More importantly, COULD I MOVE??! Suddenly, we were on a big beach, but not like the one from before. This beach was much more beautiful, and it smelled delightful!

It was like a mixture of strawberries and grapes! YUM! I was in an emo band shirt that had "Good Charlotte" on it. When did I change? Lexi walked up to me. She seemed genuinely happy, which had not happened in a very long time. she smiled at me, and I looked at her. I smiled a smile that was almost too wide for my face.

I was really happy, too. I like being ome instead of emo. This was one of those really happy moments where everything worked out really special, and nobody had any worries anymore. My clothes changed, and I was in red swim trunks and no shirt. Lexi clothes changed too. She was now wearing a nice bikini, and I recalled in my mind a picture of a character from Final Fantasy VII I thought was cute. Lexi reminded me of Cissnei, in a way. Mostly it was because of the bathing suit.

Lexi higged me, and I returned the hug. None of us said anything, but we could tell what eachother were thinking.

I'm happy.
