    Use iTunes, I mean seriously... you ARE on the computer you just charged your iPod on. I would assume you have iTunes, <_<

    I was soooo freaked out when mine wouldn't turn on!!! It was like the day after I got it too!!!

    Plug it in to your computer and hit sync (after unsyncing).

    It should automatically turn it on.
