    Don't do it. It adds alot of drama and you'll feel terrible about yourself in the end. I did this once just because I liked her and wasn't really thinking about her relationship with my ex. Alot of awkward moments.

    A: you can steer clear and just find someone else...
    (of course if ur in love this is impossible)

    B: you can remember that your girlfriend broke up with you not the other way around...if she was truly mad about you being with her best friend, she might as well get back with you again.

    Of course, this doesnt mean you free of awkwardness. especially at parties.
