    Bleh, I'm getting so tired of all this Beatles hype. I get it, people like them, the rockband is coming out, etc etc but it's borderline Twilight obsession these days.

    It really has nothing to do with Rockband. Rockband is just re-enforcing what's already happening. 2 years ago, tiny bits and pieces of the 60's started coming back. It was the peace sign and the smiley face and people just started adding parts of the 60's to their fashion. And because of that, The Beatles got reintroduced to the younger crowd, and now it's where it's at today. It's because of fashion.

    You're kinda right, at least in my opinion. Many more people have been listening to older bands lately, at the very least, more people in my area. The Beatles seem to be the most popular out of these bands, and this hype started before The Beatles: Rock Band was even announced.
