Traditional Art My First Attempt at drawing Hatsuharu

Sadley my scanner is FAR from hooked up-therefore I had no choice but to use a crappy webcam snapshoty...thing.

First picture is uneeded imo.

Its not bad for a first attempt. Remember as this is fanart you need to pay closer attention to the details of the characters you are drawing. Hatsuharu's eyes are a totally different shape to how you've drawn them, although the rest of the face you did an okay job on.

You tried to avoid drawings hands by putting one in a pocket. I don't even understand where his other arm is? The one in the pocket is too far across- it looks like he's touching himself :v it needs to be closer to the edge of his coat. His arm isn't a proper shape- I know this type of anime has very thin people, but even they have some sort of shape. The top of the arm should be slightly bulkier than the bottom half and nowhere near as long.
