    unique title, amirite?

    Wellll on Sunday my firefox was laglaglaging. It doesn't lag a lot, but I had a lot of tabs and such so it did and I had to restart it. Well, when I did, all of my bookmarks and history were completely gone, and not just hidden, I mean they're not there any more. I tried to bookmark things again and it won't let me, I click the button and it doesn't do anything, no error message or anything. If I open the browser using a link it won't load the page, it goes to a blank page, to get anything I've got to open up a new tab and type something in. When I type something in, the url stays on whatever I typed in no matter what site I go to from clicking around on the site I typed in. I can't use the back or forward buttons either. I didn't mess with the settings or anything and none of this happened until that incident. It's firefox 3.0.3 or something of that sort and I can't download the new version because my mother still had installing privledges disabled.

    help?

    I said it before: explain what's going on to your mom, and she'll probably let you update your firefox. Although since it seems that you're running on a recent version, maybe going back to a stable version might help -- at least until 3.0.4 is released.

    Always keep backup for files you might need later. I lost my huuuge block of BM a while ago too =\

    Get a stable version. Or stick to safe mode, lol that's what I do. No homo plugins but its fast as **** and doesn't really seem to make too many problems.

    Stop lookin' at orange porn. >_>;

    I've had similar problems with firefox n' IE. I just switch between the two. When one has a massive spaz attack that lasts for a few days i'll just use the other. A patch will eventually fix it.

    Do would Misty suggested. Tell your mum the situation so you can download another version.

    Okay, I get this problem alot. You have more than one Firefox.exe file running on your computer. Use Ctr+Alt+Del and hit the processes tab. Select "firefox.exe" from it and hit end process. Be very careful not to hit anything else. make sure you end all of those processes. Fixes it for me.
