Alright, so I'm trying to have my mixtape come out, but I need to burn them, but it's not even being recognized.

Is your computer capable of burning discs?

You're not accidently trying to burn it onto a DVD, are you? I've done that more than once until I realized my comp doesn't burn DVDs.

Also double check that your drive will burn discs because I know sometimes they don't.

What brand of blanks are they, if you know? I always had trouble with certain brands either not being recognized by my computer or refusing to play music after I've burned it onto them.

It may seem like a stupid thing to say, but does your computer have a DVD/CD-RW drive?
If it doesn't then, you aren't gonna get very far D:

If you do have a Rewriter, just know that blank discs shouldn't have any name tag attached to the disc, so the drive will still say "DVD RW Drive (D:)" Or something similar.

Actually, that drive won't open. I was using the Cd-rom drive instead of the one you mentioned. So, how can I fix this?

Attempting to burn with a CD-Rom drive won't work :/
Are you saying that the CD-RW drive won't open when double clicked, or that it won't eject?

If it doesn't open the blank disc when double-clicked, try to drag & drop onto the disc icon in My Computer.

Then you either have a drive that isn't working properly, or your firmware is out of date. If it's the former, either check all of the cables are connected properly when the PC is open, or get it repaired/replaced. if it's the latter, download the latest firmware.

Yeah, I did that, and it still doesn't read the blank disk.
