My Church.

I'm Christian/Catholic..My Church wants me to go every week, to train for Conformation.But I'm no going because once a month is enough.Especially if we have to fill something out and it's either opinion questions or something you can use a bible to answer.​

 

Look. This is a very delicate subject. i never got Confirmed and I'm 17. If you don't want to do it now, you can do it later. You have all the time in the world.

 

Not the point.

If I failed to show you that I am getting confirmed but they are making me go to church and I'm not.The only thing that they have to prove is a piece of paper.I can answer all the questions becuase most of them are opinionated.

I just wanted to know/ discuss if you think that I should go every week.​

 

Its entirely up to you, depending on how dedicated you are. Do you feel the need to go every week? Or do you feel once every month is acceptable? You can't really ask others on something that is a personal choice :3

 

Personally, I think you should go every week since you're supposed to give a day a week to the Lord.

But, we don't make your decisions; you do. If you believe that going once a month is good enough for you, then that's what you think is best for you. We can't force you to do something that you don't think is for you.

 

If you want to be more religious, then go once a week, but if you prefer it normally, then just go once a month.

 

im catholic too..and i go to confermation once a week...but my chruch is relaxed and what not...and all we do during the time is talk about stuff anyway...if you dont want to go...dont go :3​

 

When I took catechism for confirmation, there was either a weekly class or a "home teach" class where you only had to show up once a month. I did the home teach because I went to a private Catholic school from K-5th grade and I already knew all the teachings.

But it's really up to you, whatever feels best.

That's exactly what I think.I've already skipped two weeks but I'm going next week because that's fair.
