My brother says he can't sing but I disagree. I want to know what you guys think! he's 13 and he can sing! So just listen and tell what you think!
He's pretty good, umm i have never heard that song so i couldn't really rate it.... but it was pretty good over all
Wow! He's right here too. He wants to sing another song too! lol hanks eveeyine, hes going to sing another song.
LOL tell him to sing a more famous song..... that way i can actually hear how good he is, but what i heard was great (keep it up!!)
Hey Lani's brother! great singing!!!!! um if you sing rock song try "what ive done" by linkin park, if not try uhh... "Apologize" by Timbaland, or whatever..... that would be cool!! kk l8er
Ok but i am currentl going to sing like Alcia Keys or Chris Brown. My emo sister want me to sing evanesence....
ummm how old..........13? i see thats why........give him time......hes still to young to have a defined tone of voice but otherwise, this is really good good control good tecnic and the fact that you can do a falsetto that sounds natural is a plus :)
What your brother needs to do is keep the level the same. IT gets too high for my speakers, then he gets so low that i need to turn it up more Overall great song :D
Your tuning is all over the place, but that's something you can get better at with practice and after your voice further develops. That aside, you have good tone for a kid your age and your vibrato is forming nicely. This particular demo wasn't very good per se, but singing the right notes is the first step to getting better. If you can be more aware of your solfage, that stepping stone will definitely open up more options for you to get better.
13? Hmmm. Well the only thing i had to say was that the vrabrato seemed some what strained as he reached for the higher notes, and he was singing through his front of his head ( i don't know what do you call it? Kinda nasily?) Didn't seem to falter on pitch, but had a good technique. 2 thumbs up with room for improvement
Actually, singing through the 'front of your head' is considered correct because you're supposed to be projecting the sound through the cavities of your face to create resonance (i.e. known as 'singing through the mask of the face'). So singing through 'the front of his head' in the way you put it is actually something formal vocal training teaches you to do; this is not what causes nasal singing. Nasal singing is due to projecting from the throat as opposed to the chest. Not only does this strain the vocal chords but is also a factor that caused the tuning errors. And on the contrary, with his tuning all over the place, his pitch was only in the ball park at the very best; his pitch faltered quite a bit, if not completely. Tuning is the foundation of vocal work, and as such I don't know how you can say he had 'good technique' when everything else that has technical merit follows only after tuning. I don't take back what I said about having potential, because it's there--but in reality, his technique is very undeveloped at this point.
:l Another reason i need better speakers on my comp. Relistened to this on my laptop with headphones and realized a screwed that up over pitch, and I miss described the nasal singing but i'm glad you understood what i meant. Still say that for 13 this is good, but there is room for vast improvement.
