Muslims = Terrorists

OKAY, this really pissed me off.

I was watching the Tyra Banks Show yesterday. It was a repeat, i'm pretty sure.

so because the show is in America, I never knew this happened...(i'm in Canada)

A muslim women, who was middle eastern, came on the show. She told Tyra that she was in America to go to school and have a better life. But she also said that people are treating her differently.

She wears a Hijab (a scarf you put on your head), and she says that people IMMEDIATLY think she is a terrorist.

Once, someone put a fake bomb on her doorstep, and called the police.

They framed her.

Also, on the airplane, she was passing security, all of a sudden, all the security officers came, and excorted her out.

This is what Tyra did, she got some people, from different races, into a small room, and she put the muslim women in another room. The people could see her.

So Tyra asked what they thought of her, and most people were like, she was a terrorist. She asked would you go on a plane with her, and they said no.

This is so stupid. I hate the fact that because she wears a Hijab and traditional clothes, she is subjected to that torture.

I am muslim, and it makes me wonder if I wore that in the future, what people would think of me.

It is so rude. I don't understand why people do this. It might be for protection, but there is a huge line between protection and HITLER!

So, now I have to ask, what would you think if you saw a women wearing a hijab?

Tyra made one of the people in the small room play a muslim women. She learned how bad it was in the airport, and on the street.

 

tsk tsk, the american people once again dissapoint me. It is rather sad that just because someone celebrates their own traditions they are instantly spurned by society to be something else entirely...

 

where I live I see muslims (male and female with hijabs) all the time and I think their kol and no here actually thinks like that.......

 

When people say that all Muslims are terrorists, I tell them to research the Crusades, the Inquisition, the Holocaust (many Nazi's said that "God is with us"), Nazi-Americans, KKK, American colonization... The list goes on. Amazingly, the most practiced religion today was the bloodiest yesterday.

If all Muslims are terrorists, then all blacks are thugs, all Jews are backstabbers, and all atheists are hatefull and amoral.

BTW, what is that saying that Muslims say that means "peace to you"? Salam Malaykum, or something?

 

its actually Salam Alaikum, meaning "Peace be upon you", it is also a way to say Hello, you must say it as a greeting to elders.

I agree with you 100%. Its not only Muslims, its also African Americans, Jews, and Hispanics. Even Caucasians.

my class gave her a hard time when she subsituted one of my periods

no I didn't mean that Americans killed that many muslims. All I am saying is that it is how the holocaust started, hatred. It starts with Isolation and torture. Hitler said that Jews were the problem in Germany and Europe. Its pretty much the same thing most people are saying about Muslims. That Muslims are terrorists. There are terrorists that aren't muslim. But I'm not saying that there aren't any muslims terrorists. I know there are.

America was born from imigration, now they fear it.
If people were to know people better they would not accuse them so easily, why is everyone so closed minded these days?
I wonder what would happen if the christians declared that 'the only way to stop these hetheans is to sacrifice yourselves in the name of the lord.' But that is jst a queation.

 

And forcing people out of their native lands is any better? The people that settled this land we live in thought it was their God-given right to expand from coast to coast of the New World and forcing the Native people onto Reservations or to flee or to die.

Those were the only 3 choices facing them.

Back to the topic at hand, I have not encountered any Muslim people but I don't think that they're all terrorists just by how they dress/speak/act. That's just silly to think that. They're people with their own families, their own friends. They go to the same schools, listen to the same music, watch the same tv shows.

It reminds me of what happened after Pearl Harbor. Any Japanese Americans were rounded up and put into detainment camps. While this is not happening to the Muslims, there has developed a level of social stigma on their culture for the actions of a few.

So in the end

Muslims =/= Terrorists
Terrorists = Terrorists

 

not 2 state the obvious but not everyone thinks that way. My intentions for posting here is that recent events that occurred have led 2 thoughts like that. It is all just first thought. Nothing more. Plus that all terrorist have been full grown men wearing turbans and the works. She is a female which makes it completely improbable that she was a terrorist.

Not to mention the fact that she probably wasn't carrying any sort of weapon. Though u have a right 2 b pissed at the bomb part. although I m not Muslim and i cannot relate. If u were not Muslim and u were put up to that what would b your first idea? Not to mention the fact that all of these people have all the rights we do so there is nothing to really to fuss about.

All I can say is 2 let it go and continue 2 live your life as a Muslim and forget the whole thing ever happened. Think of it like this, as soon as the war in Iraq is won by American soldiers and Hosama Binladun shall be executed and the terrorist shall crawl back into the hole they came out of and the heavy weight of Muslims from being labled terrorist shall b lifted.

I just joined.
For one thing, 9/11 was 1 of the largest attacks on America since Pearl Harbor in the 1950's. So they killed over 200,000 ppl in a matter of hours and by attacking the World Trade Center alone. Not 2 mention the planes and the ppl killed in the Pentagon.

So I imagine that about 20 Muslim terrorist working for the most dangerous ppl in the f'ing world is going 2 lead to 1 of the worst wars since 1930-1939 of World War 2 and the peoples of the world is going 2 lead 2 some type of thought.

What do u have 2 say about that? As far as the war goes. The world aside from the terrorist all over the world r hopefully hoping this war ends soon with Iraq free from his clutches.

As far as things go, I don't have any distinct feelings against any Muslims aside from those trying 2 take down the Earth through nuclear explosions and war. So unless u have something in their defense.

1 more thing though. I believe this war is going 2 places it doesn't need 2 go. The war is shedding blood were it doesn't need 2. No offense 2 any Muslims but Osama is a blood, c*** sucking, f***ed up piece of s*** that needs 2 get his a** kicked and a nuclear bomb shoved so far up his p**** a** that the Chinese can hear it explode his f***ing a** sky high along with all the other scumbags bringing this world 2 its knees.

The things is, no one knows that Muslims are actually pretty peaceful. It's just fear that is controlling them, they see one muslim do it and they group all other Muslims as terrorists. Sad, no?
