Kingdom Hearts III Multiple Endings?

How are those moral choices?

 

Well, I mean, they basically had to do with your own morals and what you personally valued the most.

 

Yeah, a moral choice is something like having the option to do the right thing, or choosing to do something that might sound right to you, but it actually isn't (or you choose not to do the right thing). KHI's choice system was basically a "no answer is incorrect" type of thing.

Anyway, I would be against multiple endings. This needs to end the current saga. The plot already involves the contrived time travel crap from DDD. Remember XIII-2? Multiple endings and a DLC ending. We don't want Squeenix to get it into their heads that this is ok. They would just do more "paradoxes! Xemnasnemnortman is still alive because paradoxes!!!"

 

I really think that multiple endings wouldn't be such a bad idea.

A one true ending, that everyone gets. But how about -- instead of moral choices -- you can get the other endings by completing certain achievements (i.e. get a certain amount of trophies [like in 3D], or do hidden things in the game)?

Thing is, you would be allowed to go back into the game, even after finishing, so that you can alter the ending by completing these activities. Sort of a "I'm not gonna delude myself with another ending if I don't want to" sort of thing.

Or you can just unlock it, like the secret endings for BBS.

It's not such a bad idea, really.

 

I don't feel like multiple endings are really in the spirit of the KH series.
If done right, I guess they could work. Maybe they'd be like the FFX/X-2 endings where doing X amount of side-missions (or things in Jiminy's Journal) could give you the good, better, and best endings.

Still, I'm pretty iffy about it. At the very least, I'd like a secret ending that shows us something about the next KH saga.

I'm so sick of Square giving us little insights about the next game in the KH series. I think they should honestly leave no strands out of place, and give us something completely different for once.

The next saga should be something that stands alone, and, if it must, have an extremely mundane tie-in to the original saga.

 

Well it can't stand on ts own THAT much, Sora's the main character.

That sounds more like an extended ending than alternate endings.
If they made it so extra scenes were added to the ending the more optional stuff you did, I'd actually REALLY enjoy that

I see the point you're making and I disagree.

If Nomura were to add these in at the end of KH3 to unlock specific endings, at least there would be a sense of consistency, since these questions/choices have only showed up in KH1 and KH3D.

And, like someone else said, I wouldn't be opposed to having the extra endings be viewable in a separate menu, and only have the regular, canon ending be viewed + the secret ending at the end of the credits.

 

This "neutral ending" is something I've been wondering since the begin of KH 1, when Sora's mom calls for him.

At same time, I'd HATE to see the villains were right about everything is just a dream, I like to imagine that everything is really happening.

I don't mind about multiple endings, but I rather prefer for one ending, since Nomura doesn't want to finish the franchise right now and start a new Era of events.
