are there any movies that don't end happily? i'm not sure but i don't think i've seen any movie that has a "bad ending" like when a villain wins. except Saw 4, i think that's the only movie with a unhappy ending that i have seen.

The Green Mile, I wouldn't say that has a particularly happy ending D:

Damn there are a few that I can see the ending too in my mind but can't recall the films D:

Happy endings aren't always there anymore :]

SPOILER. Ed and Al get stuck on the other side of the gate, with no way to get home. They also realize that they HAVE to get involved in WWII because of the Amestrian weaponry that had been brought over. Plus, Central City is in ruins, Leor is nearly destroyed in the middle. The Notebook had a happy and sad ending...... yes, it's possible.

    But he didn't. Thankfully.

    That was an awesome movie.

I can't think of any movies with bad endings....

I think ones with bad ending would normally be remembered better because movies normally have happy endings

I suppose the Bucket List doesn't have a happy ending.
    -The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow.
    -Romeo and Juliet

Those are all that come to my mind right now.

She may had died in the human world but it had to happen in order to go back to her real parents, which it's a happy ending but that's just my opinion c:

    End of spoiler

Atonement had a pretty sad ending.

My brother told me that.I shook my head when he told me.

Pretty much the only one I can think of is Romeo and Juliet. That's the only one I can actually think of that had a sad ending.
